Ok, but be careful. The current president takes advice from his dead dog. It's not even a joke. As a president, he's a great meme. The extreme poverty rates in Argentina went from 42% to 53% in less than 10 months. I may be wrong on this one, but I think Milei's policies won't end well for most Argentines.

Neuquen, Mendoza, Cordoba, Santa Fe, Rio Negro, San Luis. All of them are good options, just avoid anything with over 500.000 inhabitants and you'll be good
Today is not that solid. We need to keep winning elections and making reforms. But this is the most peaceful choice. Today is important to support Milei's reform plan.

it's a slippery slope with the new administration, the idea of Milei is not spending a lot in infraestructure. Patagonia is a very low populated place, if he do what he said he would do, the Patagonian South will have shitty roads, very costly health, water supply, energy supply, etc. The only places that are benefitting from Milei this year is Buenos Aires City and some places near Vaca Muerta. Brazil seems to be going the path of Peronist Argentina. It will be better off when Brazilians realize that they don't need most of these politicians as much as the politicians need them. Not a Bolsonaro fan but he at least understands that the tax burden on the populace is absurd, especially when it's so obvious that these taxes are not going where they should go.
Brasil is not the only one going that way, also mexican is taking that road. Thats why Argentina look great, because the future is opposite to what mostly countries are doing now
I am from Argentina; born and raised in the province of Mendoza (wine country west of BA) and I must warn you of something. Although BA looks like a beacon of good opportunities at the current times; and I am particularly excited with Milei´s election to preside the country; there are still many folks with the old Peronist´s mentality, of state welfare dependance and entitlement. Most of them are old people, irrecuperable from that fascist mentality unfortunately, and most live in the surroundings of BA DC. Those are the brained washed low-class Argentinians brought in the mid 40´s by the nefarious General Peron, to be his nonofficial militia. I am not attempting to tire you with boring history, all I am trying to say is, that I am personally looking at whether Milei can secure a second term in office or not. Look, the war we are currently fighting in Argentina, it is a cultural one. We must change new generation´s mentality to consolidate a model of freedom, dealing with people that has suffered Stockholm´s syndrome for over 8 decades. I hope we can win this one and bring in as many useful law-abiding immigrants as possible to our home county!!
I agree with you but what gives me great hope is that the youth is almost entirely behind Milei....and those new generations that will start voting in the next elections will in a big % lean towards Milei liberal and capitalist ideas.
In my life I've seen times of optimism in my natal Argentina, and because of the country's great capabilities, there should be optimism. As the years go by, it saddens me to see that optimism gradually vanish, thanks to the incompetency or corruption of past administrations. Wishful for a more stable outcome this time, but it boils down to taking the leap of faith and making the move to reestablish roots in Argentina. But although it's my dream to see a Utopia in the southern hemisphere, I wouldn't put all my resources there. Un abrazo desde Maui!!
Peron's efforts to industrialize Argentina were sabotaged by USA following WWII (when Peron refused to except money from the IMF, U.S. cut off Argentina from European markets and the Marshall Plan). It also embargoed General Franco (who didn't allow the Allies to sacrifice Spain a la Poland, as UK and US sided with the soviet-backed "Republicanos" during the Spanish Civil War) and Salazar's in Portugal. None of these nations wanted to be post-war satellites. However, Franco managed to survive within the new world order and he gave Spain the "Spanish Miracle" he had long desired, regardless. Argentina lost its way. That said, unlike the staunchly anti-communist Franco or Pinochet, in Argentina Peron's legacy is exploited, claimed, and distorted by the both the left and right. To me "Peronismo" has become synonymous of populism more than anything else. Milei understands part of the problem but I don't know if he has a solution, for his understanding of U.S. and the current geopolitical reality seems to be lacking.
The problem in the West (USA, UK definitely) is the growing inequality, the rich are getting richer and the middle class is getting poorer. I think people are moving to poorer countries in South America and Asia because things are more affordable, the western money goes further.
Both El Salvador and Argentina have George Washington type Leaders who have instituted the Rule of Law. These countries will flourish in the future. And become great places to live and work and enjoy your best years of your life.
Currently in Uruguay. Lovely place but yes expensive as funk. Paraguay is super cheap but with that comes a rather shitty infrastructure. Although that being said, I really like Paraguay and the vibe. Wifey and I are going to Buenas Aires next month to live because on order to get residency in Uruguay they require up to date tetanus which we have no interest in having that. There are no such requirements for Argentina.
you can live in Argentina..and have your biz in Uruguay is only one hour by ferry to cross from one country to the other.. or by bus...or fly to Montevideo..
I think it's great that many people from all over the world look at Argentina to choose it as a destination to start a new life. It is true that Argentina has not been doing well for many years and we still have problems, but it is on the right path and the cultural change it needs will take time to have an impact. Now more than ever it is necessary for people who want a change in life and decide to move here, to support Milei's libertarian ideas so that the change in Argentina is forever! They was always said that we had all the natural resources, they was always said that we had all the climates on the planet, they was always said that we had done great things being a Latin American country and yet with all that potential we never reach our full potential. Hopefully, and in these decades of change, Argentina will be positioned at the top
"anarcho-capitalism" as described by Rothbard, is not anarchy. Government is simply the organization of force in support of a legal or moral code. Without the ability to organize force in defense of life, liberty, and property, aggressors would successfully organize force in violation of those rights. The issue is, the definition of "government".
@@basilmagnanimous7011 Rothbard identified as white. He supported Strom Thurmond and was an early proponent of the redneck strategy. He was also a neo-confederate, he actually wanted the Confederacy to win despite that this would have involved a type of military intervention. Well, you know what happened when southern U.S. (including Texas) seceded with the goal of becoming an independent nation. Their efforts were suppressed through war. That said, by now said interventionism transcends borders the world over. Thus, many nations in-name-only will become REAL nations after the financial collapse of U.S. And, yes, if U.S. finally fragments, I see Texas and Florida being the first ones pushing for it and benefiting the most.
Not a chance. I was born in Texas and it has more and more become blue. It likely will be a blue state in the near future and when that happens the executive branch will be Democrat that will eventually cause a financial collapse to put the final stake in the heart of the US empire.

Don't buy property in Argentina. High price, low rental income of about 2 percent. This is nothing! Too much exaltation and empty hopes. As always in Argentina. We need a strong economic crisis, freedom of movement of money, for Argentina to become attractive to investors. Today you can get 5 percent income from real estate in almost any country, in Argentina 2. Locals inadequately value their property and this is due to the fact that real estate or land is the only way to save money in this country. They do not want to sell unless it is an inflated price. I am from Argentina and let me tell you that as much as I have hope in Milei's free market reforms. The country still is intoxicated by 70 years of state-ism. A lot of provinces (the local version of US states, argentina is a federal country) are still under peronist or radical rule, and that won't change until the 2027 elections. The peronists also controll all unions in the country, and use them to sabotage the goverment. And well, we have all the issues of a post soviet country trying to rebuild it's way over. So yes, don't come here from the first world expecting libertarian paradise with the comforts of a first world country. Only come here if you truly lost all hope in the place in which you are, and want to fight somewhere else. You have to have the mentality of the people that conquered the West. Otherwise you won't make it. This is, after all, still a third world country. One with a lot of potential, one that was once before a rich country, but there's a lot of work to do, and a lot of sh.tty people to face in battle.

Love his thesis about countries breaking up. German old white history buff here, convinced that many European "countries" will end, and that would be good. People everywhere should be allowed to vote and break out, if they have the majority. It is evil international law that prevents that. Otherwise, Spain and Belgium would have broken up long ago. And why not? Like the borders of Congo or Iraq, most borders were drawn hastily after some wars in the age of nationalism which itself caused all the problems and mass murders we moderns have so devotedly perpetrated.
Thanks for sharing.
Milei support is from young folks.

I think it's great that many people from all over the world look at Argentina to choose it as a destination to start a new life. It is true that Argentina has not been doing well for many years and we still have problems, but it is on the right path and the cultural change it needs will take time to have an impact.
It’s a little colder but summer are nice and is less humid than Buenos Aires which is great
Mendoza looks great. $7 tomahawk steaks
Thank you Andrew for such an interesting conversation. I spent last month in Recoleta, Buenos Aires and now researching a pied-à-terre there. Fantastic quality of life at reasonable cost.
You're welcome!
What a legend this man is, wow. Thank you for introducing him to us, Andrew H.
Speaking of peasants, I have met some which have made much less ignorant comments than what I have heard here, that the immigrants that came to the states before the 1950s were smarter than the new ones? 😅not sure about that, historically most immigrants that came to the US were not the best of the best in Europe, otherwise they would have stayed there and not come to the US, that applies to Italians, polish, Irish, English, etc. And is not the Latin countries, have nothing to do with Latin, it is called Hispanic America, if you don’t want to hear “yankee go home” learn to speak the local language. Don’t get me started about which countries should break up or not.
Argentina may be on the right path but, not for the poor and tiny middle class .
One of the best discussions. So excellent and educational. Thank you!
Thank you for watching!
One of your best videos/guest/topics.
The problem with owning real estate is that the state ends owning you..
Very interesting interview, Young American on the same boat. I have my interest primed south of the equator in Argentina, South Africa and Namibia. Seems to be a better bet then the west in the next 30 years
South Africans in Johannesburg do not go out at night. Way too dangerous. This us the country where 10% of the GDP is spent in security.
Argentina, watch soaring poverty rates, aboit 50% of the country.
Thank you for your comment! You're welcome to join us at the next Nomad Capitalist Live where you can learn from industry experts and insiders about relocation and investment opportunities south of the equator - nomadcapitalist.com/live
Are you an entrepreneur? Or working remotely?
Namibia I have considering a lot too, but as with most African countries in the south it is very racist. SA is almost unliveable now. Cape Town and the far west is okay, the rest of the country is pure hate and evil.
@@showcaseSampaBrazil is country poor 66%
I appreciate your videos, it would be great if you conducted a formal introduction of your guests prior to commencing all interviews.
What should they do with cash?
Enjoyable. Very interesting. Thank you.
Inspiring series Andrew this is solid man. Well made friend
Thank you for the compliment.
Very broad minded and informative guest!
Absolutely fascinatingly Educational.. A wonderful interview- many Thanks 🙏🏻
I can listen to Doug Casey all day long.
As a Hispanic I agree with Mr. Casey starting at minute 52:00
VIVA LA LIBERTAD!!!
Very interesting. Thank you for posting this interview.
Thanks for watching.
Great interview. Very thoughtful.
I like the fact that you're taking a very hard look at the world of the future!!! And No, it doesn't look too rosey!! Take steps to get prepared!!!!! I compare Doug Casey to the God Janus!! Able to see the past and the future!!! Keep up the good work!!!!
What a brilliant and informative interview.
Thank you for posting this.
Kind Regards
From
Toronto
Thank you very much for the compliment! In this video you can view a comparison between Toronto and the capital of a South American country Doug Casey frequents - ruclips.net/video/2JHMxYdTlm8/видео.html
Awesome, thanks 💯
You're welcome!
I first saw Mr. Casey on TV in an interview in 1980 - 81ish. Then, remarkably, I saw him walking down the street in Washington D.C. a few days later.
This peaked my interest and gives great insight to the reality of the world. Much appreciation
As an anarchist living in Florida I am highly looking at Argentina ever since Xavier won
@@marleezawadzki having seen a couple of the Argentine economy turnarounds from ashes to riches, this tome does look very very real. The guy has a combination of extremely thorough economic knowledge and an extraordinary charisma and empathy to be able to reach a very broad spectrum of people form the worse off to the well off. It is really a dream scenario for a country with so much potential
I recommend this RUclips channel that shows what the country is like; it's a Yank who lives in Argentina with his family, @Economic_Front.
While I don’t agree with everything Doug Casey says, I find him fascinating. Great interview
Thank you
I MOSTLY AGREE WITH HIM...
Many Americans have great hope for Argentina and the rest of the free world, but we also have to get our freedoms back.
Ambos, me parece adecuando. Sin embargo Argentina tiene un futuro brillante si tan solo dejarán que creciera.
@@airm.5503 You are so right. A similar movement is happening here; people realize they unnecessarily lost so much freedom under lousy leadership.
Awesome interview! I must re-watch.
Thank you! We're glad you enjoyed the interview so much to watch it again!
@nomadcapitalist You're welcome! Lots of nuggets shared.
Trump announced this week that he’s ending worldwide taxation for US citizens
Its a long road from what a politician says to what he does. The law would have to be changed. That starts IN CONGRESS, so there it dies. Do you understand the separation of powers?
And I have a bridge to sell you
He’s not president yet, and even if he was, it’s not that simple
LMAO 😂 and you believe it
Trump announced a lot of things before his first term and he did them?
Unless you are rich and can work remotely in Argentina while having an American upper middle to upper class income therefore you'll be able to live in your bubble, middle of nowhere, in a mansion with private healthcare, private education and private security, a personal lawyer, moving to my country Argentina from the USA is the ultimate insanity. You have no idea how life standards will differ.
I did my Uruguayan citizenship because of you. Nice video!
Glad to hear this.
What an interview 👏👏👏
Latin America is definitely an area of interest. I see great potential in Central and South America in the upcoming years and decades.
(We are worse than any generation on earth before us.).
Therefore: He is right!
(Even the US will be two State Unions in the near future.)
The U.N. will bring in the NWO, so you'll get your wish of no more Countries soon 😉 I have a feeling it won't be as nice as you imagined, tho 🤧
Loved this interview. Need more of them.
Thank you. We have more interviews with Nomad Capitalist Live speakers coming.
I like Doug Casey!! He’s very wise
What an interesting interview!!!
Doug Casey at his best! He tells it like it is. Thanks Andrew, great interview.
