Just stopped in Burgos for a couple of nights on the way back from Portugal. Was only going to be a stopover but it was so nice we stayed the extra night so we could explore...what a lovely place! We arrived on a Sunday evening to find what appeared to be the entire city promenading in the Plazza Major! Quick tip...the city centre is very pedestrian orientated, leave your car in the main (underground) car park by the big El Cid statue and walk everywhere.
Great little drive around Burgos. I really enjoyed seeing the countryside that surrounds Burgos. Thank you for all your hard work and your sense of adventure, and it is truly appreciated. Your commentary about the highway and cities is very informative, and entertaining.
7:03 hotel ciudad de Burgos. Tenzij het van naam is veranderd. Vaak overnacht. Alleen laatste keer toen we dus via Santander naar Burgos gingen hotel helaas niet gezien. P.s zei het toch? Niet alle snelwegen gaan langs Vitoria. Die van Santander bijvoorbeeld niet. Tenzij je bij Burgos weer terug rijd ;-)
