Oh I like Peder B. Helland! I played his music when my baby nephew was in the ICU. He wasn't sleeping but with Peder B. Helland, he slept for 9 hours straight.
As a writer, I like to close my eyes and picture my stories as movies. Listening to music such as this helps, not only with inspiration but also motivation. The first song, I picture in my head the death of my protagonist, and I actually feel tears brimming my eyes. The cello, the piano, the violin, it all touches me somewhere deep in my heart. In other and less complex context: I love this.

It is depressing and sad for the most part. The very first chapter I wrote (now Ch.7 or 9 at this point) was to the song "Hurt" by 2Cellos and I just about cried the entire time I wrote it, for my protagonist is killed. Other songs that have inspired me are "Fly" by violinist Joel Grainger (inspired 2 chapters) & his cover of London Grammar's "Wasting all my young years" (current inspiration). I am moved by music that is sad enough to break hearts.....mostly violin, cello, & piano. Best of luck to you on all you do :)

This music is absolutely wonderful. As a data scientist I spend hours sifting through large gigabyte sized files and writing code for my analysis. Your music allows me to focus totally upon my work for several hours at a time. I do forget to eat and to get up and stretch my legs because I'm so engrossed in what I am doing. Thank you. I'm not an individual who is into instruments of any sort anymore, but hearing this gives my aching heart just a jolt of rushing memories of the swell times in primary school, when Minecraft was just the only non-impulsive video game on the market. When times were simpler. When we didn't have a president out for our blood. Within these times of crisis, as within times of quarantine, I know we will get through this, but I wish I could go back. To a much...simpler time.

I think they have the best singer on the planet in Angelina Jordan as well as so many other great artist. Thank you for sharing your spectacular music! I can stay awake through it, but my pups cannot. :) They're cello, piano, and acoustic guitar fans. I've always loved the cello and wish I'd play it instead of the piano or viola. I do love the viola's tone, but the cleft messed with my piano playing. The cello can be a haunting instrument and I dig that. It's also graceful with its deep rich sound. Definitely my favorite string instrument.
