Preparation of the scaife

Preparation of the scaife:
1. Clean the smoothing area and wipe until dry.
2. Apply 0.2 - 0.5 carat of the paste on the surface of the smoothing
area and distribute it evenly.
3. Impregnate the paste into the surface of the smoothing area by hard
alloy plate (recommended, but not obligatory).
4. Open the smoothing area.
5. The opened area doesn't make any noise and stain the facet.
