The Bill Lowen segment was awesome. When his kids had tears in their eyes at weigh in you just know what a close family they have. Bill you are a true gentleman, an awesome angler, and most of all a good father. It was obvious in your wife and kids eyes. Now there's something to be proud of!
Bryan New going out there and getting 26 in that final day and winning his first ever time out was amazing. But that Bill Lowen win will bring a damn tear to your eye everytime.

Love the classic footage but I think Bill Lowens win is my favorite. If anyone deserves it, he did. And on a side note I love his laugh 😂. Makes me smile every time.
Taku boat is a fun place, it's a Smallmouth Disneyland. Smallmouth love Japanese baits it's like sushi. Smallmouth love Taku. Taku is becoming my favorite angler on the elite series.

Wow. I had to pause it when the part about Bill Lowen's friend came up. That is just amazing, that his best friend's parents paid his entry fees one year. This sport really is filled with some amazing people.
Everytime i need to get fired up, i watch this. Hank is a heck of a Champion.

Taku ito at the end of this video is what it's all about I fished tournaments for years and there came a point in time when I was burnt out on the thing that I loved to do the most and I stepped away for a few years and when I came back I had a new outlook and it was fun again, you can take things too seriously to the point you've sucked everything you loved about fishing out of it, fish for the thrill and the fun of it don't ever let that be over ridden by being driven by anything other than that for the the ❤ of the game is what it's all about and taku ito exemplifies that his passion for the love of the game, winning is inconsequential but, it happens because of the passion for the love of the game

I've always wished to do this since I was a little kid watching. Still my biggest addiction. Military deployments stopped a lot but I just wanna fish one tournament just one.

Bill lowen was a legend for that tournament wow 👏 🙌 I mean I'm amazed at how he fishes . I have a new found respect for him . Just adapted and throwing that jig as good as he does .

Instead of a 45-min show of an event, we do 6+ hours of Bassmaster LIVE on Fox Sports 1. The additional time is huge for the anglers, then of course, the winner gets a feature.

“Wanted a check” like make the Top 50. The check he got was significantly bigger. He just wanted to survive and make the cut. He ended up doing much better and she was saying that because he didn’t think he won the event. It was a win to them bc of the fact he even had a shot.

It doesn't take the best equipment to win, it takes only adequate equipment and a very skilled, verstatile angler to win.
@@AlexanderBronskyFishing I agree 100% but on a tough day , where catching a 6lb bass could vault you into the money or better yet 1st , and the big bass are only mouthing it and not pulling
That NRX is gonna win you a lot of money in comparison to that sick stick I don’t care how good you are
Great equipment helps, but knowledge is the key to winning. I have known fisherman that regularly load the boat with Walmart special gear and others that have $100,000 worth of toys and couldn’t catch their hat in a wind gust, lol.
