    Thanks for this. The most important tip in this video is make your move on the hive at night. Very effective tactic. One more very important tip is DO NOT GET STUNG! Once you get stung your body starts to give off a very specific pheromone which makes them all attack you. Bee safe.

      Better to do it nude, especially if you are allergic. Make sure no epi-pen is available. They can sense weakness. Scream at them first while flailing your fist violently to let them know who's boss. Try to finger punch each wasp before taking down the nest. Make sure you are screaming at the top of your lungs so as to spook them. If you see the queen, rip out her thorax and consume it, that will make remaining wasp your servants. You may grow wings....but who don't want the ability to fly? Also you will grow scales and a stinger but...also cool right? Then you will have to give birth to the next brood and hope no one hits you with the spray. I am 99% certain that is how it works.

    Thank you. I would have asked for help if it was a large nest but when I see a 1 wasp beginning to build it's nest . I use a hornets spray in the early morning then wait a week then spray again then knock the nest down in the evening. If I was allergic to wasp , I'd let the professional to it.

    Here in Belguim, when you have a wasp nest, you call fire department and the firefighters will come remove them free of charge!

    Hilarious! People all you need to do is remove it early in the morning while the wasp are sleeping. Get a grocery trash (those thin bags) and put it over your hand (like a glove) and quickly grab the nest with the bag covered hand, pull it off and quickly pull the bag up over it and tie it and throw it in the trash. I do it every summer as soon as I start seeing them nesting. No Hazard Uniform required!!

    Try burning a sage bundle to help the wasps be a tad calmer while working to get rid of the nest in night or early morning. It works!

    Keep in mind that wasps are beneficial pollinators and help to naturally control garden pests like aphids. Im not saying that some sort of treatment at are never to be used, but pesticides are not always needed. Smaller nests can be removed and relocated.

      Personally I wouldn’t kill somethin for no reason, my cousin taught me to hunt and always said “we are in their environment we don’t needlessly kill.” but a wasp nest on my house or in the hinges of my car in this instance I think I’d just kill them

    I wish you could convince my husband to call the service. We have this big nest and our entire roof is swarming. My husband is trying to do everything by himself. This nest on our tree has been there for days and the roof issue has been getting worse for years. I'm not happy. I need professional help.

    Is it ok to just let the wasps be? What would the long term issues be? Right now i have wasps building a best behind a brick wall close to my bedroom window.. I see them come and go. Just worried that theyll multiply and start flying thru my window

      They will. I don't open my window because of them and even installed mesh for added protection. Still I find the getting inside my room somehow and my bathroom

      wejl one just built a nest right inside my window behind the curtain. It’s the size of 2 quarters side by side and I’m honestly thinking about burning my whole house down. (My head lays by the window as well)

    Aren't wasps a protected species in US? They are here in Germany. You can remove the but not kill them. Wasps play an important role in the ecosystem.

    As a kid in Texas, we just used a stick with a cloth soaked in gasoline. Yea, we got stung , but it felt good killing them. I now wonder how we kept from burning down the house. And yes our dads knew what we were doing. They showed us. Maybe better that we get stung. Just thought of that one. Hum
