I love how y’all dont talk over each other
laundry room = commercial washer & dryer large capacity. less problems, made for abuse.
also "canning" eggs is good. look for water bath, some solution??? stores for over a year
also , smash those tomatoes before u freeze.. more space
If you split your Vanilla Beans you get a lot more flavor, the flavor comes from the outer/inner of pods & seed! IMO✌🌻🌱
Don't feel discouraged, your an awesome woman with many skills, we can always learn more. You've taught me so much and you inspire me. Thank you sister in Christ
Jamerrill, I am with you 100%. When it comes to groceries this gal can stretch a dollar. When I was a young single mom of 2 after paying bills I typically had $10 for groceries. I would buy sale items only and make a big casserole or chicken & dumplings and we ate it all week. I might have gone hungry but my kiddos never did. God bless you and your family.
Jamerille, you are letting all of us learn from your live experience. When suggestions are made, it's not criticism, it's just suggestions based on other's experience.
I am 70 and we are all learning never let people discourage you. Bless you Jamerrill
Girl you are an inspiration! I’m home today with my 8 week old puppy I just got and we are watching your videos. When my 2 hungry boys lived at home I felt like I was always making enough food for a family of 11. Lol. Now that they have moved out, got their own homes and one is married and made me a gramma, I still cook big meals for just two of us and freeze the extras. Just over the weekend my husband got out some packets of leftover freezer meatloaf and this week we will have leftover lasagna from the freezer. Sending you love and sunshine!
Jamerrill: YOU will ALWAYS be COMPETENT in life because YOU are ALWAYS CURIOUS!!! Love you!
JS is good at caring and providing for the community she lives in.
Don’t be discouraged! You got me through a pandemic and lockdown! Thank you!
Without watching you and your adventures I would have been lost! I have no family and was isolating alone
Thank you for sharing. I’m single and cook often for my elderly parents. I get great ideas from you. God bless.
Ok so I’m 30 with no kids (6 fur babies) but I’m a big prepper and love love love to spend my time cooking, canning, gardening, meal prepping and so on.
I love your videos… but I’m literally just here to tell you today:
You have the most daggone gorgeous hair! I think that every video I watch and have never said. And today I thought, I really need to tell her this! Lol
💛🐥
Hey, thank you so much! I have a great hairdresser lady who is helping me keep it all worked out well. ❤
Jamerrill thank you for sharing all that you know, are learning, and would like to learn. I do try things along with you. It's easier because I'm not alone. I can't imagine having total strangers criticize your efforts. I have these words for them. "In a world where you can be anything be nice."
Girl, try not to be discouraged. No one is born knowing all this. You teach so many of us new information all the time and where would we be if it weren't for you? You are awesome and I'm proud to call you Friend.🌼
My mother always told us kids that the learning never end after graduating school, it's call the school of life and that you should learn something everyday. I've learned alot from you and big batch cooking and your shopping trips , thankyou I've learned things at the age 57. 💜😊
Hi Jamerrill. I'm from Scotland and love watching your videos. I think yours doing really well with your vanilla. I live on the adage of if you learn from a failure, it's not a failure x
Your such a sweet family...Your always thinking of others too Jamerrill... God bless you guys from East Texas..
Never feel discouraged because you know how to do so much and learning how to do new things is always fun and exciting. There is even fun in the failures!!!! Kudos to all who go on the adventure of learning those new skills.
I love watching you. I have 1 child, but do lots of big batch cooking. I have 2 chest freezers and regularly feed teenagers who love “shopping” in my freezers. I could probably not cook for a month and still have enough food for the neighbourhood. Thank you for your inspiration!!!!!
Love all your videos and your bright, sunshiny personality! When I first started using my label maker I found I was wasting a lot of tape when I printed one label at a time. So now I make a list of what labels I want, enter them all at once with a space between each one, then print. I feel so efficient when I do that!
Lifelong learning is the best. And you learn the most from your “mistakes.” Bravo for trying new processes, new recipes, new tools. And thank you for sharing it with us - that is very generous!
Your pantry store is amazing. We are just 2 here and we also have a stocked basement store and we LOVE it! Please don’t feel discouraged about anything you do. I know the internet brings out some mean trolls that say nasty stuff they’d NEVER say in person. We all love your videos and encouragement that you always
offer to all of us. 😊
I love that you share little things like the white boards. Great idea.
Jamerrill you do amazing things in keeping your family well fed and healthy I do admire you has your a mentor for many women 🤗💞🙏✝️
Loved this vlog! It always blows my mind on how well prepared you are to not only feed your big but help those in need as well. 🥰 Something I would love to try someday, can some beef and chicken/turkey. I've seen you and Becky both do it, having that convenience of just opening a jar just makes me say Ahhh.
I know how fortunate it is to be married to an Electrician, I'm married to one as well! Mine is still in the work field and he works on the Powerline (high voltage) side. When we put our addition on the house in 2016, he did all the electrical...huge savings! 😊
It’s better to know that you don’t have to excel at everything - but to be happy and proud of the tasks you undertake. We all need to keep learning and attempting new skills. Practice makes perfect! I think you are one highly talented woman! Just wish I had your energy and stamina! 😊
Reference power outages: we use a wireless indoor/outdoor thermometer that we put the sensor in the freezer and the battery operated receiver on the kitchen window sill. That way when we lose power we can monitor the freezer temperature without opening the freezer door to check.
For all of us… do the best you can… be open to everything…. Including choices of others we may not understand 😊
Jamerrill you my dear are my spirit animal! I am a good 20 years your senior and you are my inspiration. I live vicariously through your videos as I wanted to have a big family and live on a farm with animals and gardens! It didn’t work out that way so I watch you do it!
I was here for the old locker days!! I remember that! ♥️♥️ Praise The Lord for the things that come along to help us right on time 🙌🏾 they look fantastic
2,200sqft basement?! 😮 My entire house is only 1200sqft!! 😆 I live too close to sea level so basements don't exist here unfortunately, of course neither do root cellars or anything of the like. Cold storage is basically non existent here and I've yet to figure out how to store certain foods long term. Potatoes and garlic both sprout very quickly in the pantry, the darkest option and probably the coldest, which doesn't say much. Yay southern living! Haha
Blue is definitely your color!!! You look so beautiful in it! 💙🩵💙
Jamerrill, you are good at many things. You have so much patience, your children are truly blessed to have you as their mother. You are an inspiration.
You are an amazing inspiration my dear. Don'y worry about negative comments. ; ) You are loved by so many : ) Keep on inspiring us to preserve the blessings we get . Love you
You are amazing in all you do! Learning new things, comes through all of life! We are constantly learning! I learn so many things from all you wonderful people on you-tube! I too am trying new things in the food preserving world, that I’ve never done before! I even made a fancy French pastry dessert for the first time in my life this Easter! We are all at different stages in learning and can all learn from each other, that is what makes life so exciting! Just keep being beautiful you!
Unfortunately, most houses in the UK don't have basements or cellars as we call them but I so wish we did. I have a few groceries in my shed, my daughter's call it 'Mams mini market'. They know if they are struggling, they can come and help themselves, I just buy one or two extra items at a time, all are shelf stable. Love your content, cooking and the biggest respect to you for keeping your family well fed, loved and looked after.
You could use the small magnet on the whiteboards on the basement freezers to keep an ongoing paper, grocery list written down. So when you go to shop or put an order in, you can just grab the list from each freezer and add a new blank piece of paper under the magnet.
What a beautiful pantry!
Enjoyed your video ! Ty for sharing. You are an absolutely a gem! You not only provide for your family but you also donate and help bless others! You are an Angel!!
We live in the Dallas area Texas is normally quite warm but once every few years we have a terrible storm or snowstorm so we have a whole house generator. It’s actually hooked up outside and comes on automatically. It’s quite large, but will always be warm.
You are so sweet and positive you go girl
I appreciate how honest and real you are! You set goals for the day and when life doesn't happen the way you expected I Love your attitude. You roll with it.. Such a wonderful human being. God bless you!
Yay, time with Jamerille!!! Isn’t it amazing that our kids know everything and then the older we get we realize we don’t know anything 😂.
I just write on the freezer/fridge with the dry erase marker. It works great.
When you have tried or attempted to try even- you have succeeded, so don’t be discouraged.
This will be my year to learn to pressure can. I can waterbath can with no problem.
Thanks for the encouragement!!!
Your hair looks fabulous. Love the bangs.
I'm a widow, but I LOVE watching your videos.
You are great at everything you do bc you TRIED…..and if at first you don’t succeed, try, try, try….again. Lots of hugs! P.S. I would eat at Jamerrill’s table any day of the week!
Thank you so much!
You do great dont be discouraged you do so well you have a beautiful family
The important thing is you keep learning, and you teach and encourage us as well. ❤️
What a happy place right there 💕 Well done You!
You should make "frozen cups" for the family. Frozen cups are frozen treats made from sweetened Kool-Aid or fruit juice made in small Dixie cups.
Hi Jamerill. I look forward to all your videos. I believe your God given gift is sharing hope ,ideas, conversation friendship , joy in life both outside and in the kitchen. So please never doubt yourself even though we all do time to time and have faith that you are impacting joy to those of us watching !!
I JUST LOVE THE COLORS OF THE CANNED FOOD... 💥
I love your supportive talk at the end of this video. Thank you it helps so much❤
Jamerill I love when I see your videos come out to watch and enjoy. But, before I know it, they are over. I could watch you for hours. You are so pleasant and easy to listen to and you do have a lot of knowledge. And, guess what, when you learn something new, others, if not me, will learn too. Many blessings to you and your family!
Im always amazed! Thanks for sharing.
You have plenty of vanilla beans going on. The longer it sits, the darker and richer in flavor it gets!👍
You can just use the front of the freezer as a giant wipe off board. No need to have a tiny board. I write right on the front of my freezers and change counts as I remove items. works great =!
THAT LIGHT BILL IS PRETTY AWESOME
I do my vanilla the EXACT same way. You do not need so many vanilla beans. It might take just a little bit longer with fewer beans, but the outcome is the same. We are a single Mom family of 3, and in my opinion......you ROCK!!!!
❤️❤️ I’m so glad you’re feeling better ❤️❤️
Dear Jamerrill, never had a clue how vanilla was made so found your video on the process very interesting. After seeing the process is not so complicated I am thinking “I can do this”😃 So going to give it a try for Christmas baking. Thank you for the inspiration.
I have learned a great deal watching your channel. Thanks for sharing.
Love brother label makers are brilliant I have one fir crafting and can do ribbons
Helping to keep freezers frozen... Being in LA hurricane area... Any open spaces in the freezers, fill milk jugs with water. This will keep everything frozen and when it does melt, you have drinking water...
You're a mother a wife, housekeeper Uber, business woman, Nurse, Chef/cook, Nurturer We kissed the booboos and hurts away ,teacher My goodness the list goes on. I think as women we do a lot of things and we do it well❤
Blessings and have a Great Week Jamerrill. 🙏❤🌻🌻
I have a whole house generator. Natural gas. 30 seconds after my power goes out it will kick on. It's totally worth it!!
That’s nice! That’s not in our budget right now but we do hope to get one at some point in the coming years.
I love free stuff!!!!
Thanks for sharing, it's very inspirational.
So amazing you can bless other families with meals without any stress ❤
yes in my home we had 7 kids growing up and not me always did it
Have you looked into getting solar panels, or some other renewable energy like wind, to help with your electric?
Always fun hanging out with you! Thanks for the visit 😊
Any time!
Don’t be discouraged. You can doing anything you . Trial and error is a good thing in life. Vanilla bean will take time to vanilla. You can added more beans if you wish but the beans will need time .
Your vanilla might have to stand a little longer with that many beans but I don't know if there's really a wrong or right way. So my advice is just go for it. We learn from doing things. Love watching you.
I love it when you tell us stories, by the way your hair is beautiful 😍
Thank you so much!!
Hi my friend this video was so interesting thanks for all the info god bless 🥰🌹
My first time doing vanilla I had small bottles so used 3 slit vanilla beans to each bottle. I let them sit 8 months and still didn’t have a dark rich color. When I open them to use, I add 2 more split open and it got much richer.
You should be very proud of all you do. ❤️
Im on holiday in malta and im so happy to be watching you here. You ground me. Godbless
You're amazing at everything you do don't doubt that
The best way I have found to clean the gaskets is a tooth brush, it cleans all the nooks and crannies excellent and is really quick too 😊
Great tip!
Was just going to say, I use an old toothbrush to clean my refrigerator seals, it so much easier and quicker.
I use one of those large nail brushes. Easier to hold and it gets every pleat in one swipe. It was on a whim that I tried one and ever since that’s what I use. I spray with vinegar and a small squirt of Dawn soap.
I'm happy to tell you that you have had an effect on me...I now have 2 weeks worth of breakfasts in my freezer and tomorrow I will be making some freezer dinners, and 'TV's lunches. So happy to have picked up your habit. I have 1 standup and 1 chest freezer. Love doing this too....keep up the fantastic work.
Thank you for the videos and content, I've been re watching some of your past video as it provides me with calm and logic and just helps keep this mumma calm in a very stressful season. Thank you ❤ Health and good wishes to you and yours x
i checked manufacturer site..it's a convertible freezer so yes it can be either a fridge or a freezer very cool ♥
Thanks for the info! That’s what I was thinking by the label. Cool to know I accidentally have those ha ha!
learning new things helps you grow
Great idea on the white boards! I am going to get one for each of my freezers to keep track of what meat I have left in the freezer. 😊
I’m so excited I just joined and I’m can’t wait to do all the fun things yay 😂
In 5 months your Vanilla will be ready and great.
I can so relate.
I can not tell you how many vanilla videos I watched. The amount of vanilla beans was a very wide variety and if you should slice the beans or not.
It can make your head spin.
Another great video.
Jamerrill you do everything perfectly!
Have you considered solar panels? My home isn't huge, but my electric bill was running anywhere from $175.00 to $280.00 per month. The system I have will pay for itself in 3 years. At the end of each installation year I will receive a $9000.00 check. I have the option of using it or signing it back to the company ( which I plan to do). Once I've paid it off, my monthly bill will reduce to single digits. I currently pay $117.00 monthly. Best investment I could have made for not only energy conservation, but it's economically better for me financially.
Doing a great job, we never get to old to learn something
When your summer garden comes in you will be very happy to have that empty refrig.
"Like a good hillbilly" hahaha I adore you!!!!!!!!!!
I loved to see you improve your space with our recommendations! It turned out great!
(And you should talk to Becky (Acre Homestead) about your vanilla project. She has been doing it for years and has some tricks up her sleeves! I think she makes it in bulk?)
Lowes has a 17 cu ft one for 778 that is the brand of yours that cn be a freezer or refrigerator.
I like a labeler too great for school supplies! That’s a good thing to remember when you’re feeling discouraged and think you don’t know anything to take the time to think of the things you are good at and turn things around!
