I got an email from a favorite garden company, all their bulbs were 50% off!! So, you know what that meant. I had a looksy, and a buysey. In my defense I have an area that needed bulbs desperately, because you know the garden has to have balance : D. They are all things I've been trying to find, and were 50% off. Just think they are hope for the future, and therapy for the body.

I live in Western Washington; my husband and I finished winterizing the outside gardens on Friday while the weather held. It was glorious to soak up what will be most likely to be the last of the bright sun and warmth for the season. My bulbs are planted...I planted 25 giant crocus, double daffodils and some Iris. The beds are dressed with mulch and now I'm waiting for Spring! I love when you share your bulb purchases and your promise that you won't be buying anymore! Too funny, because you know you will! I loved your video today. Hometree is doing such good work, I am inspired to look up what is happening in my home province here in Canada. I tried L' Occitane once when I was in France for work, I loved it! I have also been inspired to stick some spring bulbs into my gardens this fall, I keep my fingers crossed for luck. On another note, your eye brows are perfect - how do you do them? I really want to know. Laurie
I love L'Occitane so much, they're such an incredible brand, even more so when they support charities like Hometree! As for my eyebrows, I must film a beauty video showing what I'm using at the moment because I have hardly any brow hairs at all and use the same two products every day!

That wallpaper in your hotel room was gorgeous. I love alliums too but have had to thin mine out the last 2 years because they really multiply! I agree with you about peonys being too little reward....I dug mine up. Love your rainbow speckled jumper!
Fell in love with peonies when my mother in law asked if she could have some of the pink flowers from my garden as I was cutting them I found out that they were perfumed I have planted loads more but only perfumed ones lovely memories of mam
