I've just resurrected my copy from the bottom of a box. I hadn't seen it for about 25 years. I thought it was long gone. Whacked it on the turntable and buggar me - it's in perfect nick. I saw these guys many times in Brisbane in 78, 79. With the Numbers (Riptides), Go Betweens, Jimmy & the Boys, characters like V2, Ed Wreckage and Madonna (no not the famous one). Makes an old bloke pine for those days again.
This is one of my all time favourite singles. Its worth a forune these days.I saw one in bad condition sell for $800 . Lucily I got it many years ago when it first came out. I love my copy as it still has the original price sticker on it. $1.75
This lot played a spoof band called "The Snooty Angels" in a British drama from the late 70's. Can't remember what it was. I've tried googling it also. Fail. Over to you kids...
@wonderdogsixtynine LOL, I "had" this single too. I wonder if anyone still has Razar's "Taskforce" that they could upload? PS. You might just enjoy another same era brissie video by the parameters watch?v=Ehx4CZSsojI ... ahhh memories. : )
I'd like to see a punk band cover this song now, and change it to "stamp out trance" or "stamp out dubstep" Rave's are the new discos, burn them all!!!
went to school with these guys, and we rocked
And they only charged a buck!
