I found out years ago via E u r o pa the l a s t ba tt le
The entire west thought the whole Soviet Union was Russia until the mid 90s. Even in the late 80s if your European football team was playing a club from Ukraine like Dynamo Kiev you would call them a " Russian team ". Kind of like how everyone in Britain gets called English.
In America, I never met a single person, including as a child in school, that thought the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics was only comprised of Russia. The very name is a giveaway. Perhaps you only associated with particularly uninformed jocks or you did not realize that they were mildly disrespecting the opposition, as football fans occasionally do. 🤷♂️
Michael now gets his hair cut at the Helen Keller World of Beauty, I see.
It's just old school monk cut son come on now
Brother Michael has been received as a Franciscan novice.
When's he gonna take that vie of silence...jokes
His motivation was greed and hubris
Close family members of mine lived through this famine. It is a profound historical event still not known or discussed widely enough, shockingly.
There is actually a good movie about this called MR JONES
Since Duranty didn’t report on the horrors it might have been because he knew how Stalin treated those who cast him in an evil light. Muggeridge went courageously against the grain.
@TeamKillTimmy ME neither!
He wanted money and didn't want to believe that he was wrong about communism
@@spearfisherman308 You got that right!
Read “Reflections on the Failure of Socialism” by Max Eastman.
The holodomor takes away from the holocaust, which they use to wield their power
The Holocaust was a reaction to the Holodomor.
"Russian" revolution and formation of Soviet Union was nothing less than a genocide of slavic people, so indeed, your observation is very apt.
Holodomor wasn't limited to Ukraine, most of Soviet Union territories experienced famine.
The Sovjets had gay kompromat on Duranty. Duranty could live his lifestyle in a hotel and in return repeated the party line.
hey man, who does your hair?
How about how your crowd denies the nakba
Totally was blackmailed
Many experts fall for hidden payouts and groupie etc perks just like rockstars and suddenly “forget” to tell certain crucial truths… 🙊🙈
PS) Some of the theories in the comments could also be true; or partially. 🤔
Motivation? Religion blinds you.
If you are going to steal people content at least give them credit and link to the original in your description.
How about you create your own content to sell your books, there is a novel idea for you.
We can't even get modern leftists to admit that this happened.
