This is one song that I didn't think could be covered decently, since Lennon's original vocal was so terrific. I was proven wrong - this is a damn good cover. I would love to hear Robin Zander, lead singer of Cheap Trick, wail on this one since he has such a great rock voice.

It took 13 of them to do what 4 did over 50yrs ago. But damn, they did pull it off quite nicely.
they did it live, the four had multiple tracks to use and a lot of instruments.

@@aoi5571 Not quite true lol The song does not have a "lot of instruments" on it, but it does have the Beatles handclapping which they could not do while playing their guitars - drums; otherwise it is the Beatles playing their usual instruments. There was no "multiple tracking" as we know it. Instead there were over-dubs and the song was originally a mono mix rather than stereo.
Beatles: drums, bell, bass, three guitars, handclaps, maracas. 7 or 8 actual instrumentalists, and, as others have said, not all at once.
Nice version-thanks for adding the bell-without it it just wouldn't be the same song!
