+arjen schat - i like your music very much - not so BIG, but well running and relaxing... i mainly commented to say that i also like your icon, not exactly my taste, but very well reduced and very fitting to your music - the simple wave one can easily recognize at once among those endless number of other icons on youtube, yepp, well done... ...and i like that you give response to any questions asked... keep going and providing us with your fine waves... :-)
great song! reminds me of petar dundov, whom i like very much. glad to see someone else doing this Kind of Music. it's like Berlin School re-invented, Kind of a neo-berlin-School...
Hi Ignacio, thanks for your kind words! I don't use use any compressor in the performance, I did add a slight software compression to the master file for the upload.
Hello man!! Nice music!! A very futuristic-scifi kind of electronic music. By the way, are you using any kind of compressor for this composition of your? Wether is by software or rack-type (hardware) compressor?. Anyway, really good music and work!
Hello !! Nice stuff and sound. One question..I want to buy a midi interface 8x8. The ESI M8U XL works ? Did you have any problem on computer or as standalone ? Many thanks !!
Those don't look like studio monitors, are you running everything out through a stereo system using regular stereo speakers when you monitor your mixes? I'm sure this is a direct in recording, and you didn't record the room for this demo, but when you mix what do you use to hear the room?
+foggydrifty These are not just regular stereo speakers, they are Dali Concept high fidelity speakers hooked to a NAD C 320 BEE amplifier. They have a fairly flat frequency response and sound very clear. I mix on this system and use Beyerdynamic DT-770 headphones for reference as well.
+Arjen Schat thanks for the response. I use Events ASP 8's to mix , very flat but deep sounding monitors. I use the same headphones as you. Haha! Anyhow, nice music and well put together. I've also been interested in the ZEd mixers, how have you liked yours?
foggydrifty Thank you! I've switched to a Presonus Studiolive digital board for easier computer integration. The ZED's are great for analog mixing, and are the largest available boards sub €5k.
IKEA storage system??? If IKEA knows bout this, they will come up with their own synthesizers, perhaps ;-} Hollandse Berliner Schule ( don't know really 'if' Berliner Schule really exsisted/different views on that, especially by the German artists of those starting days, 'themselves'). The padsounds are very smooth, fortunately and are not dominating all the time. Good!
And Bellerob, it's funny that I understand Dutch, but only because every word happens to have an equivalent in Swedish. "Klinkt goed" is easy to understand, too.
bring me back in my childhood, so expressively rich emotional music !!!
It's nice to hear Electronic music!
Lots of feeling in it, like traveling to an other world far far away. Thank you for sharing it with the world.
Out of know where!!!..........Awesome!!!!
Klinkt goed Arjen,mooie spullen ook.

Warm, rich & complex sounds. I really like it a lot ! it's relaxing hehe
Aaaaaaaaah, da's lekker!
Ik zie wat mogelijkheden om enkele ledlights op de stellages te plakken!
Dude, 2 little phatties... big luxery ;-)
Brilliant!
Lot's of very nice sequences and great layering with high quality sounds!
Great work!
Lovely.
I mostly know you from dub tech recordings but didn't really know that you're into Berlin school as well. Awesome.
More Berlin School Arjen - loving it!
nice sound!
Great sound! I picked up a 436 mixer this week so it makes me glad for such a clean mix
klinkt lekker helder en open. Erg goed!
Top sound !!! :)
Dank je!
love the scope on the top shelf! :)
Love your stuff... I've been playing it on my FM radio show "Music With Space" on WPRB 103.3FM
Thanks! I've been doing Berlin-school longer than dubtechno actually, glad to hear you like both.
Me gusto mucho esta composición musical. Me hace volar.
Thank you! The Analog Four turns out to be exactly what I hoped it would be, four synths with advanced sequence possibilities.
Such talent!
Great setup, great sound!

Hey Rob! You should make videos for this guys music, because his very talented for sure ,but you have probably done that already,i guess!?
Thanks! The ESI M8U XL works great, I've never had any problems with it.

Anyway, really good music and work!
this was a classic techno studio setup
🙏✌️
Thanks! I use the auxiliaries to send the signals to the effect units and the channels on the mixer for the return signals.

Thanks! The mixer starts to show some flaws after three years but soundwise it still holds up nicely.
Beautiful. How are you finding the Analog Four?
You’re a fucking genious!
nice sound !!!!
gruß aus deutschland
super! :)
great music. love the way you have organized your gear ... forces you to move ... ;-) btw how do you like your mixer? i am about to get the ZED 428.
Sound a little bit like Ashra´s Blackouts (Bass line only). But very good.
Good music! What is the device you have on the top of the right side?
Really nice tune. Do you use the A4 to sequence all the synths?
Thanks! I used Renoise to sequence all the synths, the A4 is only sequencing its own tracks.
Fantastic. How is the analog four?
Thanks! It has served me well since the day it came out in 2012. It's my go to synth for most of my sequencer music.
Some noise crackles on a few faders and buttons and the VU indicators stopped working. It probably just needs a good cleanup.

Very nice. Good job. Like the great Klaus Schulze.
How is ESI M8U XL works? I'm thinking of buying one. Is it worth it?
+blurryyyy The ESI M8U XL works great, never had any issues with it. It provides plenty of MIDI in and out connections, and can be USB powered.
+Arjen Schat Thank for help. So I will get one:) Have a good one and keep good groove going!
Waar voor functie is die oscilloscoop nodig wat doet het?.
Compliments ***** !!!
may i ask what these flaws are?
single track recording?
Yes, it was a single track recording.
cool, thanks just thought id ask - nice work
holland 12 points!!
So how can i get rich like you?

cool berlin-school just learned a genre
Work hard and don't go on holidays. :)

Chiil Cat ;)
Het heeft geen vitale functie behalve het geven van wat meer dynamiek in de video.
Нейтронное звучание присутствует,прибавить в эту палитру темных туманностей и черных дыр инфра-низкого звучания, вставит по полной.
Hey! Wanna kill your laptop? Leave it on those speakers and the magnets will kill the hard disc very very soon!!!! (if not already)
(Nice stuff btw)
Yep, but nowadays, laptops don't have magnetic hard discs anymore. They have SSD that are essentially immune to (static) magnetic fields.
