Yeah they are a bit tight. Compressors do make it easier for sure but some hard pumping will also do it! Just need to get that first bit started and then it just goes
@@JayHurstMtb the other week we had a somewhat old folding tyre, i blew it off the rim on the first ride and couldn't figure out why so we ended up using another one. maybe a tiny nick on the tape, who knows? another thing is what to do when the tyre doesn't track straight. many people know the soapy water trick, but the very person who finds this video may not so it should kinda be included here also. i'm sure there're other little tricks but don't know what they are, although including everything one can think of may make the video too long
Are you running tubeless on your bike?
11 Likes? This video definetely deserves much more. The most straight-forward, explained and concise video about going tubeless I saw.
@@dkaigorodov Legend, thank you so much 🤘🏻
i struggled with Maxxis DHR2s with the EXOplus case to get them to pop on to the rim ... until i got a compressor !

that's fine but it doesn't cover what to do when things go wrong, which would be the most important part of such a video
That’s fair. What sort of issues are you getting?
