Don’t forget that Fani wasn’t even called to testify. She “ran” to the courtroom and volunteered to testify. She just knew she was going to get the defense attorneys told and it backfired right in her face. I couldn’t get over that unrepentant spirit!!! I came to the US at 15 and was baptized in a small town black church at 17. My friend invited me to church, and everyone in that small Baptist church embraced me and treated me like I was one of their own children, grandchildren, sisters, cousins. I was away from my family and found my new family. The women of the church were QUEENS. Nurturing, dignified, wise, and full of love. They always wanted to feed me or give me a hug while whispering in my ear “baby, ladies wear pantyhose to church.” From that time, everywhere I moved, I felt most at home at a black Baptist church so that’s where I always went. People would seem a little confused at first bc they could tell I was “raised in a black church” as they would say, but I would very quickly feel right at home there too. Over the past few years, I noticed that some people wouldn’t say hello or smile back at me anymore. Fewer handshakes, good mornings, or invitations to church events and meals. I didn’t even realize it then, but when I moved and went to a new church the energy was so different, even the sermon was all about race and how white churches this and black churches that. I felt such a dark cloud over me while I sat in the pews that day I cried the whole way home. I have tried going to other multicultural or “white” churches but it feels more like I’m watching a recital than being in church. I haven’t been going to church for over five years.

I came to the US at 15 and was baptized in a small town black church at 17. My friend invited me to church, and everyone in that small Baptist church embraced me and treated me like I was one of their own children, grandchildren, sisters, cousins. I was away from my family and found my new family. The women of the church were QUEENS. Nurturing, dignified, wise, and full of love. They always wanted to feed me or give me a hug while whispering in my ear “baby, ladies wear pantyhose to church.” From that time, everywhere I moved, I felt most at home at a black Baptist church so that’s where I always went. People would seem a little confused at first bc they could tell I was “raised in a black church” as they would say, but I would very quickly feel right at home there too. Over the past few years, I noticed that some people wouldn’t say hello or smile back at me anymore. Fewer handshakes, good mornings, or invitations to church events and meals. I didn’t even realize it then, but when I moved and went to a new church the energy was so different, even the sermon was all about race and how white churches this and black churches that. I felt such a dark cloud over me while I sat in the pews that day I cried the whole way home. I have tried going to other multicultural or “white” churches but it feels more like I’m watching a recital than being in church. I haven’t been going to church for over five years.

I was shocked that no one seems to care about adultery. I now know why black women do not have husbands or fathers for their children. I feel sorry for her children. How can people make all of these negative statements about how DA Willis presented her testimony? The defense attorneys created lies out of gossip. Moreover, for the past 2-3 years, DA Willis received death threats, graffiti on her new home, and living alone. DA Willis did not indict trump. The crime happened in her county, therefore, the DA is in charge. People making a big deal about DA Willis. Where is the outrage about trump & the people who carried out a plan to throw out the black vote in GA, and four other states?
