Thank you, this method worked wonders!!! I didn't have to wait after applying the oil and baking soda, it just worked immediately like an eraser. I will be using this method for rhe rest of my life. Thank you so much ❤
I followed your instructions and it worked exactly as you said. I had some "goo-is-gone" to get rid of any glue residue. Excellent results. Thanks so much for sharing! Luv from Alberta Canada. 😊
After hot water releases the label, a bit of mineral spirits on a paper towel quickly and easily removes the adhesive residue. Incidentally, this is best done in your garage or outdoors. If done indoors, dry paper towels soaked in mineral spirits outdoors.
Hi! I’ve never tried it, but I know baking soda and vinegar are used together often for cleaning. I don’t think adding vinegar will hurt anything. Let me know the results if you try it! ❤️
Hi! I haven’t had a jar crack yet. Most jars used in the US commercial food industry is soda lime glass which can tolerate hot water. Make sure your jars are room temperature before pouring in hot water to avoid thermal shock. Hope this helps! ❤️

Thank you so much, getting the labels off was such a chore. I used the bottles to store macaroni.

@@CraftingWithYoo Didn't know that. I have a seasoning bottle that has a real stubborn label on it. I'll have to try the hot water trick.. thanks
I would just take some Goof Off and take the rest of the adhesive off.
That works too!
WD40
That also works!
Peanut butter.
And Jelly! 😊
