Thank you so much brother! I keep waiting for the rain to stop so my streams can get back to normal, been a mess up here
Good job good video guy an Gemma did good to
Thanks brother, she was a sweetheart the whole time🙌
I love how good Gemma is in the boat, I sure wish I could take KayCee out in mine,I know she would be hitting the water tho LOL,,,once again a great video Lt
Thank you!!! She is such a doll in the boat. I need to record her more next time. She sits there and trys to paddle the boat with her paws towards sticks floating by lol. Shes a goofball
The theme song got me to subscribe. Dope content!
Thank you!!! I need to bring it back. I'm trying to find someone to help me get is recorded right 👊
In a few years, those flathead will be giants!
I can't wait to get one of those giants in
Always fun there. I was there today. 5/5/23. Got drum, cats, carp and walleye.
Very nice!!!!
Nice sized drum. I tend to catch more white bass in the river casting towards the banks with curly tail grubs than jigging. Much like fishing small mouth in streams.
I thought about doing that. I'd really like to do it with my pig pounders
@@LTOutdoors15 I think they would work fine. Adding a curly or small ribbon tale plastic would help with white bass. Can't have too much action when they're spawning. They will hit anything that moves. They tend to be in the top half of water column, so don't drag bottom and risk snags.
@@LTOutdoors15 one other note, they tend to roll on the surface and cause a visible disturbance when they're in a spot thick. They love to chase, so leave lure in the water for a couple seconds at end of cast and you may get some savage hits on film.
Last year I seen that but they weren't doing it this time
Those multi species trips are the best, love the surprise when you never know what’s on your line. Did you get a chance for any spring trapping.
I agree fred, its always fun waiting to see whats on there. I didn't do much. I'm working a couple nuisance jobs at the moment so I'll have a few beaver catch videos coming up
Can’t wait to see him. I really enjoy them a lot.
The one I caught while I was fishing in a kayak!!!! It was a crazy time lol.
Love the flathead cat. I have been trying to catch a big one for a long time. Great job. 👏👏👏
They are the coolest, I just love the shape of their face lol
Sweet👍🤓👍. Your fishing in my backyard. Nicely done
I caught a 22 steelhead on a pig pounder today after the rain
That's awesome!!!!! I'm glad it's working good for you
The Saginaw river has some monster's in it...if you know what to look for and when...i use shrimp and kill it.
I catch a ton of giants in there every year. Last year I caught so many master angler fish lol
@@LTOutdoors15 Oh yeah me too..right there along M-13 by Arnie's old bait store.
I've been fishing that river heavily since 1979..I have a picture of a carp that buried a 60lb scale..I'm going to hopefully find it and show you...I had no idea what a master angler was at the time.😢
Holy cow that's a monster!!! That river is definitely one of my favorite places to fish in the state. Such an awesome fishery
@@LTOutdoors15 Mine as well..we are blessed with it that's for sure.
Fun spot to fish !! Like the new camera angles !
Thanks brother!!!! I think it makes it look much more professional
I live in Gladwin, give me an invite to fish anyday!!!!
I had a feeling you were going to get into some cats!
I need to go down and just do a cat video soon
@@LTOutdoors15 that be cool!
I definitely love catfishing
@@LTOutdoors15 so do I Brother!
Interesting but I've always been told that river was very polluted
There isn't very many places now adays that isn't from something or another lol. I feel like seems how everything causes cancer anymore I'll take my chances with fish
@@LTOutdoors15 well I know some places r worse than others and I never bought much for fish other than a already cooked meal and that's another reason I subscribed would like to get a weekend place up your way with some good lakes !
@@LTOutdoors15 got prostate cancer bad about 3 yrs ago and went through a lot of bs and treatment and then colon cancer and then back to my prostate cancer I recently started treatment for again !
I'm sorry to hear that John, honestly I hate the word cancer and I'm definitely not joking about it so I hope you don't take it that way. I've lost both my parent within the past 7 years which I loved and had a really close bond with, lost friends, lost uncles, seems like anymore it's almost destined for some of us. It's part of why I make every day the very best I can. We never really know when our times numbered. I hope you stay in remission! I just don't let wild food faze me anymore is what I was getting at. I understand humanity has polluted most of the waterways but also I know that alot of store bought stuff can be just as bad. It's a scary sad world we are in. I sure wish an actual cure for cancer could come out. I've lost the 2 most important people to me at this point so if they do come out with one I'll feel lost at this point
@@LTOutdoors15 yeah it is what it is we deal with it best we can and try to move forward and fishing certainly helps lol
Great video. Buddy wants to go catfishing. Is the plastig jig you used the best bait. Or is live bait better.
Honestly targeting catfish I would use nightcrawlers, that's always my best and decent sized minnows work well for the big ones too
How's the boat doing? Did ya fix yr leak?
Both still leak pretty good lol
Watched you for hours last night. In not to far from the USS Edison. Fish by the Train Trussel I have gotten 2 catfish I wanna say flatheads and I wanna say a sheephead. And I almost got a muskie only issue I'm having is my lines lb cant hold. I need line
Thank you so much!!! Its so much fun down there. That river is my favorite place in the state for mixed big fish. I'll be back down there tomorrow. I've yet to catch a musky but I've caught several pike down there, drum, carp, suckers. White bass, white perch, yellow perch, crappie, rock bass, channel and flathead cats, walleye. Truly an awesome fishery.
Are sheepshead and drum the same fish? Or is there a different between the two fish?
They're the same. Sheepshead are actually called freshwater drum. Its just a nickname
@@LTOutdoors15 they say there is a stone in there skull with a litter on it I hear that many years ago.
You ever eat those drum? There was a old timer I fished with as a kid. He always put a bunch in the freezer. He said they weren't bad?
I sure have. I think I have a video on here eating them. They arent bad at all. Can boil them for poor man's lobster too
Ok LT,Just bought 50 bucks in ring of fire jigs.
😮😮😮😮 dude that's awesome!!!! You'll love them they have great action
