Our once family farm was just out of your video, a hairpin corner & a 200 metre straight that bikers loved crashing on.
We would be in the paddock & here the rider going for it , then a brake lock up , the bike hitting the road & the sound of metal crunching & tumbling, then screaming from the rider through his helmet after he had been catapulted through the air & 8 feet up in the fork of a tree.
It hasn't changed since the 70s, was always great hearing a run of Harley Davidsons rumbling through the mountain, but those Hiroshima screamers all think they are Mick Doohan until they're not Doohan at all.
And they wonder why motorcyclist figure disproportionately higher is vehicular accidents 🤷♀️🤦♀️
The area used to be 100, then 80 now 60 and double lines no matter how open it is. Heck, they even made it illegal to stop at an area made specifically to pull over and enjoy the view.
It's a shame that a flowing (but bumpy) road has been ruined, and so many ride foolishly.
They'll live a fast life and die young, then their parents /friends will say he was such a lovely young man, and big them up on tv
The question I ask is what speed were the vehicles doing? My bet is they weren’t going the speed limit so frustration builds and the bikes over take. No one mentions how slow drivers are. If you can’t do the speed limit get off the road.
Normal for Mt Mee, bad riders ruin it for the rest of us 🤬
These type of guys give the rest of us a bad name. They’ll be the first ones to cry when someone’s on the ass, but have no problem tailgating motorists. I’m all for enjoying a weekend ride, giving it a little throttle & hitting the twisties. But the idea is to make it home safely at the end of the day.
There is no way I'm sitting behind a trailer and caravan on a twisty road on a bike....I'd be gone
As an avid motorcyclist, yep this I'd reasonably normal outside of the poor attempt with the range rover. That was pretty shocking but I'll not have any qualms overtaking on double yellow lines when its safe. It's just what we can do, accelerate faster then any car, use less room on the road if required and not hold you up, were never going to slow you down through a twisty section so just give us room and we'll be off on our way.
So, you're quite fine with breaking the road rules? You twats think you're above the law and when something happens, it's always someone else's fault! I hope one day you do something like this and there's a semi coming around that corner! One less selfish, arrogant, farkwit on the road!

agree,only the range rover attempt was bad,,the rest perfectly safe for a motorcycle to do

I ride too and often see this, what's the hurry? My wife and i nearly got cleaned up by a fellow rider overtaking us on the inside on a charity ride in the exact same place!
As a bike rider that actually regularly rides that Strech of an excuse for a road, the one thing that i saw that spooked me, was the uncovered load on the trailer .

If there’s traffic , just stop , give yourself a clear run and go again. Much more fun.

Cam'er was just butt hurt being stuck behind the trailer carter's. You won't see the footage of said cam'ers unhindered spirited runs.
It is pretty easy on a bike to make three lanes and nip past traffic. Why that guy was in the middle of the other lane who knows. That was a close shave. This wasn't the safest riding admittedly, but whatever the cause of a motorcycle crash the rider is guilty until proven innocent. In my 40 plus years of riding I have had drivers open doors on me. Both accidentally and deliberately. Turn into my lane as I am going past. Pull out in front of me from a side road. Brake test me. Had things come off of cars and trucks that hit me or caused evasive action. We face potholes and poor road surfaces that throw you around. Loads of reasons beyond our control that cause us to crash. But no always our fault. I live quite near Mt Mee. And have been overtaken by cars doing the same thing. And they need all the road. Just so many bike haters in the comments going on about organ donors etc. Next time I am filtering past all the stationary traffic that doesn't hold me up too much I can appreciate being on a bike. And wind up the haters even more.

Motorcyclists have no fear. Which is just as well, as loads die on the roads every year. Not enough though.
In the past 18 months I've witnessed 2 fatal bike accidents. I laughed as the medics performed CPR.
