Jennie and Rosé is definitely the speakers for their english/western tour. They're so eloquent with their words.
Hopefully Jisoo gets the courage to speak more as stated she understands the language well.
I think the same. She can understand them very well but she's just nervous to speak up. I hope she'll talk confidently in English interviews in upcoming days.

@@kdramaschool5021 Don't be, she doesn't feel ready. Who's gonna answer is decided ahead of time. She's going to eventually but as an English as a second language teacher I can tell you that you need to respect that sometimes the learner doesn't feel comfortable for a full on conversation/ interview. Especially on radio. So don't feel bad, she's speaks a lot of other languages, so just because she's still working on her English doesn't mean we have to feel sorry. Once she's ready she'll slowly start participating more.
The way rosè &Jennie are speaking is so soothing like they sound so amazing. I’m happy they’re back.

Rosé always shows how smart and intelligent hér answers are. And with her playful personality she’s able to lighten up the interview to smile, laugh and fun. Also she always shows her genuinely love for members and fans which we can see every time she interacts with fans, she really treats them like close friends as she speaks.
BTW I LOVE THEM ALL SO SO MUCH. It’s really the best when there’re 4 of them.

for english interview, Jennie and Rosė initiates to answer all question... Korean interview Jisoo always initiates to answer and for Thai interview Lisa also initiates to answer... it jist how it ia...and they are comfortable with that...but if interviewers will also initiate the raport between all members that weould be very cool so that other members can feel associated with this international interviews

Tip for future interviewers, Prepare a couple questions in advance and give it to them, so that Jisoo and Lisa can think for more than a split second before responding. I know that people want impromptu responses, but while Lisa and Jisoo can understand the English being asked, the second it takes for them to translate in their heads the answer and form the response, Jennie and Rosie will answer to prevent dead air. While their English is fast enough in one-on-one interviews, Jennie and Rosie will be the only one answering in the quick back and forth banter.
I think as interviewers, directly addressing the "silent" people would be a good way to include them and have them engaged.

The girls are so cute, they seemed so shy I wish they felt more comfortable so we could hear more of their thought process, and maybe if they traveled with a translator Jisoo could talk for once but regardless it’s so nice to see them all together
Edit: Ik Jisoo understands English but I guess she’s not comfortable speaking it around natives so I think if she had a translator to translate her answer from Korean to English for the host then maybe that would be the only way we can see her participate in these English interviews. Still so annoyed she missed SDA for this bs

Jisoo doesn't need translator, she understand everything, she is at the stage where she can answer the question in english if she is directly asked, but she is still not ready to take part in discussion among other english speakers.
She is not shy so she only needs to start thinking in english.

Jisoo can understand English. She's just not yet confident when talking to a native English speaker. But she can definitely understand, may be she will be more outspoken when in western interviews, someday.
I think Jennie already mentioned it before (in a Vlive/interview I honestly forgot😅) that Jisoo undertands the language pretty well but is just not confident or comfortable enough with speaking it. They've been through many interviews and the members(usually Jennie) always translates Jisoo's answers (in Korean) to English for the hosts, but Jennie doesn't translate the questions in Korean for Jisoo since she already gets it. Except when the questions are very complex for her then Rosé and Jennie takes the initiative to translate, it rarely happens tho.

they have 2 english speaker members Rosé and Jennie, let them represent them in those interviews, and if jisoo wants to talk they will help them, or simply ask her to learn english, Lisa is also a Thai but She can speak english and speak Korean perfectly.
