One guy gave a insane price, then the other came in with still a higher selling price while giving a small tearful speech. This is how they work, and how they manipulate them into these deals. Don't be fooled he most likely only gives a shit about profit, not farmers.
most of the people we call "farmers" are members of the owning class. they own productive property and buy labor. they can afford to pay $12 for whatever it is this guy is selling.
Christ is tbh, but farmers may come closer afterwards ”and are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;” Ephesians 2:20 KJV

Damn near every super rich person like that is a greedy scumbag that exploits those with less money to make even more money than they could possibly spend in 10 lifetimes. You ever notice how the richest people pay their employees so little. They are rich not because of “smart investing” or “good business” they’re rich because they take advantage of their employees and normal people. We do all the work, they get the benifits while telling us it’s a fair trade
I would think bulk pricing is a little bit different but nonetheless inflation effects everyone especially farmers. You can imagine their tools use a lot of gas and power. And as gas and power prices go up their already small margin becomes even smaller.
THAT is how business should be done. No obsession with making the most money possible, but making something that sells because it's quality at an affordable price. To farmers, that's all the more important.
Interestingly, most retail items have less markup than even this Farmers item. Most retail businesses are making 30 to 50 points max and have to pay our employees, insurance taxes etc from that. Just saying, this is why it’s hard to be a business owner and why success is far from assured. People have a mistaken idea that companies make 100% profit, this gentlemen would be getting 150% profit, and I think that’s good. Retail business isn’t a great way to get rich but it’s a good way to make a life.
Wealth means nothing if you don’t have respect for yourself. You can’t live immorally and truly like yourself. This man now has it all. Wealth and reason to like himself. Love this!

Not really, he just understands the market he's selling it to. No point selling a service for $12 if nobody can afford it, farmers generally make very small amounts of money for what they do so you have to keep the margins as small as possible, it'd be like me saying I have $10 to spend on a subscription but the subscription costs $30, guess what the subscription doesn't get my sale.
