This is my last travel trip before Covid happened. I’m so glad that we made this last-minute trip happen right before the this crazy pandemic blew up (literally a week before they announced strict quarantine in Manila!). Honestly this feels like a year ago but I hope this helps you in planning your trip to Batanes in the future especially if it's your first time like mine!

Yams, which is locally called "uvi" here in Batanes have different taste, hahaha, sometimes there are those sweet (but not the sweet that you might thinking, basta manamisnamis, hahaha) and sometimes meron yung plain lang yung taste, hahaha, which maybe yung nakain niyo, 😅 I grown up eating that yam mix with powdered milk and sugar, and it is the best, hahaha

December-January isn't a good time to go to Batanes. It was raining heavily that's why we didn't enjoy the tours that much.
Sad to hear this :( Weather is really bipolar in Batanes! Even for our trip, we thought it would be sunny but it was drizzling and even rained hard several times during the day 😓 Better to just be prepared for anything! 😀
