I stopped going to movies. I got rid of my TV 10 years ago. I watch nature, history and archeology on RUclips. Also to many political commentators. And cat and dog videos. But at least I always knew the actors were not their characters. And the good songs weren't always sung by good people. And the more I learn about Hollywood the more I think some of the pastors from the 30s, 40s and 50s were right. We were complicit in helping people debauch themselves and those around them.

I worked as private security during several Super Bowl parties in 2008. We wrapped one party and went to see if our staff needed support at Diddy’s Ciroc party. We got there there were metal detectors everywhere, EVERY person including our staff was searched for wires and recording devices. When Diddy and his entourage arrived, they went around the metal detectors, and none were searched…. Now I was the only white security guard, the boss, from Philly very quickly got a really bad vibe about the party (and implied after party) and we cut out within 10 minutes…he was legit spooked and said he was not booking anymore parties for Diddy.

Kids could stay out all day riding bikes and going in and out of neighbors houses and this was never even considered as a possibility by parents! It did happen but not here in the US on this scale. I never even heard of a gay person until l was 12 at which time it was whispered to me by a friend and l was in shock! TV , movies, family life, books, everything was different. All my school teachers went to church and believed. No teachers cussed and sex education was just telling kids their bodies began to change at puberty.
