Oh wow! It sounds like you've had a tough school year Mr Crabz. Of course a lot of people have because of the pandemic. Hope it hasn't been too bad for you.
Omg! I can't believe how much I used to enjoy watching you talking ahahaha the best way to learn!! And as you mentioned the best investment for the future :) happy new year, btw and see u in next video :))

Wow! I LOVE these videos!! I'm a new English teacher, and was looking for inspiration. Now I know I can never produce anything as great, as explanatory, as fun and interesting as these videos. What a great couple!
Hi Heather and welcome. We appreciate your very kind words. It has taken us quite a while to get to this level, but today, video equipment is so available and many people are able to do great work in English Language Teaching. Don't sell yourself short. Thanks for watching.
iIve been 'out of it' for some tme, what with the Covid lockdown etc. So glad to be back, thank you so much for all your wonderful scenes & situations! Jxx
@@SimpleEnglishVideos As you my have read, the vaccine situation in Germany / EU has become a disaster! So, no jab yet, hopefully sometime soon! Have you had yours?
Your videos are really very helpful, thank you so much! And the real life examples help to understand the context where one can use these phrases a lot! Just great, I really love it!
Giving real life examples is such a good way to teach! Although in my school books there are often many words and phrases to learn, there aren't many examples of situations when I can use them. So thank you very much for your videos, they're really helpful❤️
It's been a pleasure to see you both in bright temper , full of positive emotions and humour. Happy New Year , dear friends. Greetings from Moscow Russia. 🇬🇧🇺🇸🇷🇺
Where I live, (American English), we use "it's a bit much" as well, but with a slightly different meaning. It wouldn't make much sense to use it in the scenario shown in the video, but we'd use it with a more literal sense: to say that someone went a little too far with something. It's always a joy watching your videos, because I usually learn something new even though English is my native language :)
Yes, yes l liked it ! And you are totally right if we are spending more time nowadays on RUclips at least to do it smart and stay tuned to your videos 😉

Hello and Happy New Year (even it's quite late, but still),
It was a very nice video!
I have a question in British English:
What's the difference between "Crush" and "Crash" (I know they can be nouns too)? "Bust and "Busted"?
I'll be very thankful if you'll answer about it.
Thanks!
Hi Michael. Happy new year to you too. This is Vicki. Is this a question about meaning rather than pronunciation? I just want to check because of course the vowel sounds are different in crush and crash. The meanings of this verb will work in British and American English. When a car crashes, it hits something else and there's an accident. But when cars reach they end of their useful life we might crush them, press hard on them so they take up less space.
