Sir one can't check/ test himself before 2 year/ 3 yr what was his attitude & after reading Sri Aurobindo & the mother books what is his attitude in his every actions? As while walking alone all these thoughts come automatically. Yes one should keep in mind that if some changes he finds he would not feel that yes I have achieved, I am the only one who can do the change in my every fault attitude. Instead this one may gratitude to the mother that thank u very much maa with ur help i am succeding little little & kindly direct my life so that my life become eligible for your instrument.

It is a journey that is unique to each one. Even when two people are traveling together or one is living in a collective group such as an Ashram, the journey is still alone. It is only the Divine who walks with us and carries us each according to our unique nature. Of course when you look back after a few years each time one understands the progress in some aspects of our being and nature. But the last change is in the outer surface nature and hence least noticeable by others who can barely see what is behind the surface personality.
