Husker fan here. Great respect for Wisky. I really wish the selection committee would have placed the B1G teams (1s and 2s) in separate Regions and separate halves of the bracket. If they did I think you would have 3 of the 4 teams from the B1G. Pitt is the only team that can hang with the top of the B1G.
If Nebraska hadn’t lost to Penn State, I’m certain it would have been a Pitt Wisconsin regional final. I felt confident that Wisconsin would have caused a lot of trouble for Pitt. Great team.
Sad to see Sarah end her collegiate career! I have to recollect how she’d abused us the last few years to ease the sadness. Charlie will be fine! I just hope she stays away from social media, and doesn’t have to pay dearly for Wisconsin fans’ unrealistic expectations.
Wisconsin played very well and if they played another team in a different venue, they probably would’ve won the place was lit the entire time and it’s gonna be difficult for anybody to be Nebraska in that environment!
