I’ve got about 5 flextail gear products and never had an issue with any of them. If I bought this it would be for a kayak

I believe the initial sound is from a low-pressure fan system that just blows air. Once it reaches a certain it switches over to a positive displacement diaphragm pump.

Very cool device, that would also be perfect for dingys, lilos, paddling pools, airbeds etc... hence all the attachments 👍

Right on there. I guess it depends on the cost but having the expensive paddleboard gear anyway the extra for the pump must be within reasonable budget. 8 minutes can't be much of a real saving of time BUT instead of doing that boring job for those minutes you can be doing other prep and social stuff with others around and getting ready so it's a full saving of time! Must be a winner!

Have fun on the paddle board and canoe this year Dan. Will be waiting for those adventures popping up along with the camping ones. 7min 40sec...yep, perfect timing for downing a cold beer😉 Enjoy!

That is a awesome bit of kit especially being portable, and the fact it will do 4/6 boards is very handy , it’s a bit pricey but I’ll see what I can do about that 😉

G'day Dan, well looks like we have another winner. Fantastic to see a company really combine innovation and quality, and so far at least, fair prices to match.
Btw; I assume you still have the "boat" ? ..... gotta be good for that application also.
You can start charging Rob to blow his up too ; ) ...... perhaps that beer while you're both watching the pump at work.
    Cheers Duke.

Might be a nice backup if you’ve got a RIB (Rigid inflatable boat) rather than trying to use a foot pump if you get a small puncture 😮, or need a top-up 😊👍

A question…can you use it while it’s plugged into a vehicle, or are you always charging / discharging the battery?

    • @CampLifeBushcraft
      @CampLifeBushcraft  Год назад +1

      That's a good question.
      I'm afraid I don't know..
I'll find out and let you know. (If I forget remind me as I'm not home at the moment)

@@CampLifeBushcraft Will do, thanks! I think it’s an important option so that if you have the choice you’re not putting the wear and tear charging cycles on the lithium battery so that it lasts longer.

Do you have any advice for a quiet pump for SUP? Preferably cordless but car power is fine. It doesn't matter if it's very slow, just looking for something automated that won't make neighbours rage or echo loudly down a river. Could take 20 minutes or more; don't mind! Thanks for any advice or recommendations.

I suspect they're all going to be noisy as they need the power to get the psi .. hand pump might be the option for quietness.

Bahahaha, @ potentially 20 PSI + external pressure, ......... the puncture repair kit may well be required.
I wonder if it ships with a "Rachel Adapter" ... a lotta different size valves .............................. so I'm told ; ) Cheers Duke.

I must have missed something. This thing is £75 more expensive than the current market leader. I have seen no evidence of it pumping a isup to 20psi, I get my 12'6" tourer to 20psi in under 10 minutes with a double action hand pump. This took nearly 8 minutes to get to 12psi... laughable. Even the deflate was longwinded and poor.
I get pumping up your board is hard work, it would be lovely to have a pump to help but 12psi? It hadn't even started the hard yards. Do a proper video with it up to 20psi. Let's see how long it takes and how much battery, then repeat immediately till it dies.
    Thanks.
