!بادرس المصري. أنا من كوري رعت كويس. ده ممتية جدا و مستعدني أوي. شكراً
I am studying Egyptian Arabic in Korea and this is probably one of the most useful and authentic Egyptian Arabic materials that I've come across. There are minor errors in the subtitle but so far it's really great for studying and reviewing basic pronunciation. I really appreciate this. Please keep up the good work!

No one speaks "Modern Standard Arabic" each region has its own dialect; therefore only "Modern Standard Arabic" is only found in books or newspapers etc. But not used for speaking.

thank u for this vido it is great
    keep going man

but is it ok if foreigners speak standard arabic? arabs understand them..if an Egyptian speaks to a Moroccan which language would they use?

    • @jewellui
      @jewellui 4 года назад +3

Most Arabs understand MSA but they will likely respond in their own dialect.
I think a mix of Egyptian and MSA since the Moroccan may know some Egyptian.

1:00 'An iznak ? Dude probably never drove along Al Mansoureya Road where the trash piles up in the middle section or the south-west end of the Ring Road where 2 of 4 lanes are littered with building rubble and garbage, smells delightful at noon from a Taxi. Oh well, that's Giza ... doesn't count ;)
Anyway, if you want a nice place in Cairo, go for evening dinner at the restaurant of the Al Azhar Park.

If you want, you may slow down the speed of the video. Hover your mouse in the center of the playing video and click on the Settings icon, which resembles a gear. In the menu, scroll to find Playback speed and click it. RUclips gives you eight options for playback speed.

I also guess it. But it's how they speak. What I do is: watch once in normal speed, paying attention in the meaning; in the second time, pay attention in what they say (but slowly now); if you want, watch it a third time to get it better.

That wasn't Arabic guys, its just the Egyptian slang, and it's not easy to speak even for Arabs from other countries, I advise you all to learn Arabic which is written not spoken!, I know it sounds crazy!, but it's the only way to communicate with all Arabs and to read Arabic books.
To make it easier to understand, Arab people speak hundreds of slangs, none of these slangs are written.

this is Arabic with Egyptian accent
in Arabia people have a lot of accents
levant ( syria and lebanon jordan and palestine ) saudia and khaliji and iraqi and yamani and sudani and moroccan accents we use it in the streets and non official things and useully educated people understand diallects without Troubles
but the one to learn is standard modren arabic for you as Foreigns
it is the one we use for media and books and Religion and quran and everyone (educated) understand it and with it you will learn the accents within days and we use it for writing also
this vedio is useless for you guys
    good luck

Well, it depends on someone's goals. If someone's goals is Arabic fluency, or go travel all throughout the Arab speaking world, it would make sense to invest time in learning Fusha. In my case, I just plan to go to Egypt next year to travel for a couple months. Since I am only going to Egypt and no other countries, and I want to converse with the people, it makes sense to learn just Egyptian dialect
