Hello I am in Pennsylvania north of Pittsburgh. I can not believe the looks of your walmart and how there are empty boxes, just a mess. Our Walmart has a night crew that does nothing but stock groceries. I just shopped a few days ago. We are totally stocked, all things organized. We have so many pastas . Peanut butter was full. I am sorry for the condition of your store. So many rollbacks were found. Need to look at other Walmart. Thank you for the videos.

Live in a town 45 minutes away from Pittsburgh and Walmart is wild Saturday and Sunday. But I think it is about how they are able to employ people. Some areas can't get the help.
SE PA pretty much no bagged, canned coffee at Walmart, all sections of food shrunk here
Salt Lake City Walmarts are well-stocked and no apparent shortages, though I buy very few shelf items so there may be gaps that I don't notice. The eggs are almost as cheap as before Covid days (60 eggs for 7.57), but they raised the price 50c on the 12oz ground decaf Donut Shop coffee.
Carol… i splurged last Thursday and bought the 60 count eggs at $9+.. thought that was an ok price. I was prepping for another order and looked at the egg prices. I thought my heart would stop beating. Over night the price went up to $14.44 for a60 count box. This is insane! Checking some of the items Danno looks at to our stores, the prices are usually around the same price. Consider yourself lucky on those eggs. North Carolina- piedmont region

My local has gone up on 5 oz GV croutons while Dollar Tree has 6 oz size cheaper. Hormel pepperoni 2pk 3.5 oz costs more than two packs of 2pk 1.75 oz at Dollar Tree. So not only cheaper at Dollar Tree but comes in 4 pks for 0.875 oz ea instead of two @ 1.75 oz ea for better portion control. Easier to open two than have leftover from one. I think they are getting rid of the 30pk Swiss Miss and going only with cannisters. Today's Pro Tip: Debone the rotisserie chicken (I usually carve off the breast, debone the wing thigh and leg then throw the bones body and skin into boiling water. Pick the remaining meat off the body you couldn't get from carving and use the broth and meat to make Chicken and Dumplings.)
To the person who asked if you could recan fruit: yes, but it will last decades in the commercialy processed food. They use higher pressures when processing. So do I so it lasts longer.

Del Monte has closed 2 plants recently and got rid of just over 200 employees. i think it was like 2 months ago, 1 in Washington and the other up north of me in Wi.
Walmart's prices have certainly been hit-and-miss. I by far do most of my shopping at Kroger, mostly sales, but there is little that is less at Walmart, at least, what I buy. Kroger sales are the way to go. HOWEVER, the 1-lb frozen rolls of
Festive turkey have gone down, $2.54 to 1.98 (I canned a lot of it a year or so ago; they are good to have in the freezer).
Finally, sugar and sweetener came back in to Walmart and Kroger here in N.Central KY.
Walmart is the only place for me to find HERB OX bouillon. It is the only one that is full of flavor and not just all MSG.
Their prices of rice are still good.
JESS! I just bought soft sleepshirts myself last week. We have to be comfortable, right? (My mother had green eyes.)
When I stocked at walmart, yes we hated those clip strips hanging all over. they were always in our way too. but they were money makers for them so they kept them. food you were lucky to make 1 or 2 % on but those clip strips were a 250% markup. that little stuff by the registers had the big markup too.
I order the Keystone Meats from the site due to the fact that you are less likely to get dented cans, they are very careful and you get the latest best buy dates as well. It does cost more to ship but to me it's worth it. I ordered a case of their broth and it's real good.

I bought the great value pears and they still had some of the core and peel left on them ,won’t buy again . Del monte , Margaret Holmes and Glory are great brands cost a little more but worth it. Dei Fratelli are my favorite tomato products . Thank you ! 🛒

I wear those gowns too. They are nice and stretchy and cool in the hot summer months. I usually get a size larger just so they can hang loose on me. They are very forgiving. And inexpensive.
@user-wj1xr8nn7t I get it larger too. My last one has a huge hole in the back where the washer got aggressive. But I still wear it...with a pair of shorts! 😆 Next trip to Walmart, I'll get a new one.

Baked beans at Dollar tree are very good
My Dad loved me to clean his vehicle for him as a father's day gift rather than buy him something. He kept his vehicles clean but who wouldn't want someone to vacuum and wash the windows. Wish he was still here today.

The reason Walmart doesn’t have sales is because they aren’t going to lose money on their products to get you in the door. Sales are basically loss leaders to get people in the store. Chances are they will pick up 2 or 3 more items to keep the store from losing money. Walmart actually operates at a very small profit margin on groceries and they refuse to sell it for less than they pay for it. But they also sell more groceries than anyone in the world. So their simple strategy of making out your entire grocery list and buying it in one single store they are always lower.
I really only buy items on sale so Walmart isn’t for me. Plus their meat is usually more expensive than anywhere else

Our Walmart is nothing like this it stays pretty full at least you have other options
My Walmart in Az has never caught up w the pasta since the plandemic.
Our Walmart only carries the Keystone beef. Wish ours had the variety yours does.
Same, mine now only carries the chicken and beef. I like the ground beef but it's rarely in stock.

Thanks Danno. I buy lots of shelf stable food at Wallys in San Diego. Not frequently, because I’m out of space. People should read the nutrition labels. $3 for soup is crazy. You can’t live on it- there’s no nutrition there. A can of chicken, can of veggies and some rice makes lots of soup.
For their tags, the four digit number in the black box on the bottom of the tag will usually match up with last four digits of the UPC code on the product. 😊
I just picked up 20 lbs of Basmati and Jasmine rice. Cook and dehydrate, and it turns into minute rice!!!!
For people looking for distilled water, if it's not in the water section usually you can go to the baby section and their parents' choice Nursery Water is also distilled.
We have been buying the Butcher Board beef, and it is very good. I can never find the Keystone meet. I want to try it, but they never have it! I may never know. 😆Great video!

Helpful video. I bought fresh turnip greens for 99 cent at Ingles. I was wondering how much cans cost. I want to season them myself. To me the cans are over seasoned. I also got 2 lb of baby carrots for $1.49. 2 lbs of mixed broccoli carrots and cauliflower for $2.99. Large pack of thin sliced bone in pork chops for $3.09.

Krogers tomatoes have solid cans and Walmart uses pop top cans. I will happily pay a little more for a solid can.
DANNO, it looked like a hurricane went through your Walmart store! Some people have commented that it was because you were doing your shopping on a Monday and stores always look that way after the weekend shoppers. The mess I see in your video indicates problems that can't be excused by just a busy weekend of shoppers! For one thing, I am shocked that so many of those really dented cans were even allowed to be placed on shelves for sale, it's ridiculous!

Walmart on NC, SC border just south of Charlotte in really sad shape. No bananas or onions. Very decreased fresh fruit and vegs and fresh bread and rolls completely sold out. Never ,ever saw it even close to this level of emptiness. Floor freezers almost entirely empty. Store rearranged to try to make it look presentablepeople looked around and just walked out.actually Heartbreakers
The velvetta is probably low because of family gatherings on Father's Day. The chicken is probably low for the same reason, even though it's not a good price. Walmart KNOWS they don't have to give low prices on meat...they have Lots of people on food assistance and they DON'T CARE what the price is, It's "free" to them.
Yes a lot of them do. They may not have anything else in there town besides Walmart and does not have transportation to go anywhere else
LaChoy was almost missing in Walmart in Auburndale Fl and Publix in Poinciana fl.
The great value 16oz. can peaches was 52 cents about a year and a half ago and now it is $1.48 cents. It cost about 3 times more now.

Commercialy canned food can last decades. They don't tell you that. Home canned food can last decades. But it's unusual for home canned food to last as long as Commercialy canned food.

One good reason to recan is because you can buy the cheaper huge cans and break them down into more manageable servings.
I have recanned fruit but the fruit comes out very soft and mushy from the reprocessing. But it is safe.
Most fruit such as peaches and pears is not that acidic as it is processed in a sugar syrup. BUT, pineapple has a lot of acid in it and will erode the can so I do recan pineapple and tomatoes products into glass jars.
I wonder why manufacturers don't offer pineapple in glass jars.

That's what I do. When they're .99 or less a box I buy several. Can in 4 oz jars and the broth in pints.
Yesterday I paid 6.99 for a can of “ Cento real San Marzano “ tomatoes at our store here in north east Wegmans 😒

Hi Jess, some of their pj’s are really cute! But, I did read they are using some “forever chemicals “ on their clothes & shoes, that stay in our bodies forever, hence the name..but yeah, Walmart & Target. Good God, is there anything safe anymore? I will go to buy something & my husband will say, no, I saw an article on this, it has such & such chemical on it. Everything is a kill joy lately. Walmart is a price match store. Show the price elsewhere and they will match it.
The walmart I worked for quit doing that when I worked for them. I left them either 4 or 5 years ago already. They won't price match their online or other walmart prices either.
I wish they still did because the other walmart i shop at that is farther away charge $8.63 for the 60 count eggs but the walmart I worked at charges $13.00 right now but those employees do make more than the employees in neighboring town walmarts so the store prices are more.
I'm sorry but I cannot believe how horrible your Walmart looks. If I walked into a Walmart looking like that, I would be grabbing the manager by the collar and saying what in the heck is wrong with you? I would never buy any thing in the store. I have been in many Walmarts and I've never seen a Walmart this messy and nasty before in my life. I cannot believe there's a grocery store out there that actually looks like that. If I had walked in and saw all of the flour, sugar, salt all over the place. That is very unnecessarily uncalled for. I can't believe that the employees of the store are that lazy. Keystone was $4/can 2 years ago! I have a lot of it. By the way, if you order it from wallmart and the can is dented. They will send you one that isn't, and you keep the dented can.
