I wasn't gonna say any of that at all... But just saying, there's several RUclipsrs that have posted videos about getting around the turret nerf.
But most of them are explaining how to use the electric meta to essentially buff the nerf... 😏
I'm curious to see what Tokyo had done to get around it though..... He's probably found a way to use it to his advantage knowing him.

Tokyos an extremely well rounded player w his stats nearly maxed on grubbing tactics & raid defense imo. His base building & understanding of game mechanics is great too

The amount of times that I say "HOINK" to myself in my head while watching AIT's videos is hilarious to me.
Tokyo is honestly the most well rounded Jack of all Rust RUclipsr out there. And the fact that his design is honestly meta changing is just a testament to his skill. Dude is leading the pack.
I've used a conditional wall stack to add bunkers to my roof but I never considered turrets being able to shoot through the crack. That is insane. Well done. I definitely have some tinkering to do in a build server now
Anyone know how to counter people griefing me? I can set up my base but I had a duo put down 4 Tc’s outside my base just so i can’t build anymore and there is nothing I can even do anymore. I also had another guy do the same thing to me for no reason and I play on a 100 pop server.

Side note on the turrets. That has been done before year's ago. It was hard-countered by flame rockets. These were on Vice's bases. Not the zues, but I think just before the wizard if I'm remembering right. He showed the idea off in a stream. I think since Flame has changed so much now. It could be really cool to look at free-hand turret pods again. Maybe something that only takes a single triangle off of a base.

I sent an auto turret exploit to AIT's fan-contact email. I hope he uses it, because if anyone else knew about it, it would be patched within a week xD
TBH anyone could figure out the exploit. The fact that nobody's found it before me is mind-boggling because it's so simple to reproduce you'd feel like an idiot for not figuring it out by yourself already.

@@brandon-wj3hz Honestly like I said the fact that nobody has learned what it is goes to show that there's probably a hundred other things we don't know about that could definitely be exploited right now. I want AIT to feature using it, since the way the exploit works is best used only for base defense. If he doesn't use it, then the exploit will continue to not be patched and I'll be the sole person to know it exists.

Damn. I remember l've heard from both Wiljum and Blooprints videos that Aloneintoyko is the best rust player in the world. I think l can agree on that overall by now. for whatever my opinion is worth. Not a great rust player myself but l know my ways around. Also seen pretty many amazing players in this game for some good amount of time.

This guy AloneinTokyo should be named the King of Rust. His older videos are amazing! Every video I've watched of his has me awe of his situational prowess and ability to steal from loot rooms of clans is unmatched.
