Honestly, that's the happiest and most comfortable in his own skin, I have seen Noah in a long time. I think the best thing for him is to continue being with Amelia and be a dad to Esther. Being with them and taking care of them seems to give him a purpose and incentive to continue his life on this healthier path. I say let Samson go off and have the big life he's planned and let Noah have the job he clearly wants.

Why not be a part in her life as grandparents and let Samson give away his paternity right’s. As long as Samson understand it is for life. He will never be more than a sperm donator to Esther. He can’t change his mind in 5 to 10 years demanding rights.

This isn’t the way Samson stamping his feet and Sam and Lydia giving in. That’s not parenting in the slightest. Samson needs the law laying down wether he likes it or not. And if he doesn’t like it, the door is always right there he can walk out of there. Just be honest and tell him and he can throw a tantrum all he wants just sums him up, a brat that hasn’t grown up behaving like an even bigger baby
Sometimes part of parenting (no matter your kids age really) is to stand firm and say, no what you are doing/saying is wrong and I wont support it. All this talk about giving Samson time while being true to an extent doesn't give him the right to ring social services which is a criminal offence to lie and make false accusations. Instead of going to put his name on the birth certificate and giving Amelia false hope he wanted to be involved he should of been honest but he just wanted to wind Noah up. Yes Sam and Lydia should have listened and not keep pushing him but as my husband says as parents we all do what we think is best for our children. Samson has made Esther she's here now and she isn't going anywhere and Amelia is right the first year goes quick changes everyday.
