- Evan had the chance to read Jodi Benson at GalaxyCon - and read her the a letter about how much she means to him. She couldn't have been more lovely. Thank you so much Jodi - and all the fans in line! - for being so encouraging and wonderful. It was a really important day for Evan and for me.

I love how Jodi is not occupied by anything else, even when the people at the other table are looking at her, she is so engaged with this man. THAT is so telling of who Jodi is, and that she cares about her work, and the way she impacts others.
She listened to every word you said and took it all in. Such a a rare beautiful person she is. I love her so much. Ariel will always be my ❤️ we love you Jodi!
I came across this by accident and was so touched. I work with special needs adults and was so moved by the letter and Jodi's sincere kind and loving response. Actually several of our clients are big fans of Jodi and Part Of This World. This really inspired me to keep doing what I am doing!

This is absolutely beautiful!! I love her heart and her authenticity and her compassion!!! And he seems so smart and so articulate!!! He has an incredible heart as well and it showed through in this and the letter he gave her!! What an incredible and special moment!! So glad it got videoed for him! That way he can rewatch anytime he needs a reminder that someone outside of course his parents cares about him 🙏🙏

I can totally relate to the guy. I have fragile X and OCD which are forms of autism. I've looked up to Jodi as well, not so much Ariel. Especially as another mom.

Just now coming across this video after a couple years. Wow, I'm so proud of you for being so courageous and opening up yourself up to Jodi. As a person who also has autism, it is a struggle but also a tremendous gift that we have been given. We are all wonderful human beings and we should have more moments of humanity like this. Spreading peace and love to others.

He poured out his heart here.And I did not have autism but I did have a learning disorder.I could learn more by sight than book.And being this was in the 1970s.They really did not know what to do with kids with problems like this.He touched her heart here.God bless this young man and Jodi.And thst goes for all young people that have a leatning disability.

I also have autism and special needs and my mom died earlier this year and this book has helped me a lot with the grieving process and I've had my moments where the grief would get to me and the book helped me with it especially when you would put Bible verses in there and talk about God all throughout the book

So glad there were not others in line behind waiting! That is true dedication!!! I sort of wonder if Jody was thinking "could you wrap this up!"...........I'm surprised fans get allowed to stay that long with an actress/actor.....it's longer than a meet and greet!!! It's better than a meet and greet!!!
I was there filming this and she was so genuinely in the moment, not impatient at all. There were others waiting in line, but everyone was super kind and actually many of the people in line were very sweet and touched by Evan's letter.

You allowed yourself to be vulnerable on this social media platform and that too takes courage - another great characteristic that I'm sure you have.
