Man thanks i try to OC my ram to 3400mhz from 2666 mhz and hard to be stable. But after watching this i think that doesn't worth to push , we barely can't see the difference . 😅

My Infinity fabric clock is 1500mhz currently no probs in games so far but my inner monk tells me squeeze the best out of my 5600x and thats probably ddr4 3800
Still using 3000 mhz xmp dominator platinum set. Was curious about upgrading to 3600 mhz, seems like its not necessary right now. Thanks

Дети, частота ОЗУ решает на стабильность и 0.1фпс очень дико. Прирост фпс минимален но он так же есть. Раз не решает, поставьте память на 1866?) какая разница😂😂😂
What this video does not point out is the biggest diffrens with higher speed is higher 1% and 0.1 lows. In short less likely to lag in game with high load. Biggest diffrens overall would have been if he tested the games in like 720 p or 1080 p. Higher the framerate higher the load on the system

You can see the lows and they be like 2-3% maybe more. Majority of the time it’s the same. You will never in life feel that gaming.

was running on 2400mHz for a whole year even tho my ram is 3600mHz... bruh well imma use that free 5 fps boost thx
3600 does give a few more fps. it can be important for some big games and do a small difference between stuttering and being ok. i have some games running at 40 fps and im sure it will help. its not a big price these days and worth it if your pc is maxed out and with a small bottleneck like mine. i have an am4 5800x3d cpu and theres no better cpu for gaming on am4 from what i saw. my rtx 4070 with this cpu cause a small cpu bottleneck. the ram can help a bit. i dont want spend over 1000 on a new pc and prefer 70 dollars for a small improvement with the ram. i do know that i wont be able to use a better gpu with this configuration and eventually will need an am5 or better. buying a better gpu right now would be useless for me.
So I shouldn't be worried for getting a significant performance loss when reduce speed from 3466 to 2933MHz. Right?
More context: I'm using Ryzen 5 3400G inside an Asus TUF B450M Plus Gaming. The spec + support page from Asus say my this combo can handle up to 3466MHz (while AMD says 3400G max capability is 2933MHz) which made me tried overclocking the RAM to the exact number of 3466MHz (RAM kit: Lexar Ares RGB DDR4-3600) and it crashed a couple of times per day lol. Recently, I configured again the RAM profile to DOCP then keep those settings there so the speed was turned down to 2933MHz.
I was worried because my RAM's bit old and it's overheating much more, but seems like 2666MHz isn't such high decrease as I thought so.
Biggest diffrens you see is the 1 and 0.1 lows with higher speed

@@JustMartha07 well it has more to do with how mutch frames the pc puts out. In most cases the gpu is the bottelneck even at 1080 p gameing but say 720 p you will see a bigger diffrens at average.

У людей вообще нет понимание как пк работает. Тут прироста от рагона не будет так как видеокарта 100% нагрузка, надо на минималках в овервотчах и всяких разных высоко фпсных играх тестить. там +10% должно быть, тупой тест, не понятно зачем, не понятно для кого

Ram like that is more competitive in the e-sport segment where 1080p monitors with high refresh rates are key to adding advantages. Those games are typically also run at low graphics too where RAM is more beneficial. If you're 1440p or beyond you're more likely to benefit from investing money elsewhere.

This test is flawed. CL should increase with higher mhz to keep the same latency. By not isolating latency u can't say higher freuency alone is responsible.
