I'll give you the whole scoop: Usually when you see some guys in highschools or highschool media that are athletic, health-conscious, strong/buff, extremely masculine, physically talented (and sometimes a little dull in the head), and generally good-looking, their names are typically something like Tyler, Josh, Brad, Chad, or something of the sorts. When you call someone a "chad" you're basically comparing them to that one stereotypical athletic popular guy who's name is usually Chad. For example, Foolish's friends like to call him a "Chad," and that's because he's athletic and works out, loves sports, is incredibly handsome, and is physically strong. Now in the gaming community, you may see people calling others "chads," not because of their physical prowess (maybe that too), but because of their gaming prowess. So "chad" in the gaming community is basically calling someone talented or extremely good at something. In Twitch chats, you may also see people saying "GIGACHAD," which is an emote you can see with browser extensions that depicts an insanely muscular man.
