- Hi everybody! This is my guitar cover of the song Behind The Veil from Dream Theater's self-titled album. There's a lot of guitar tracks on the original song but I just played the main rhythm guitar and solo, just like John played live in the last tour. I got the original song mix with no guitar tracks, so the only guitar sound that you'll hear is my recoding. It's really hard to jump into that crazy and hard solo in the middle of a relatively easy song like that, unfortunately it didn't came out perfectly. Specially because of the camera. But even John made a perfect take of that live, so I'm ok. I hope you like it.
Olá pra todos! Esse é meu cover da música Behind The Veil do álbum auto-intitulado do Dream Theater. Tem muitas faixas de guitarra na música original mas eu só toquei os ritmos principais e o solo, assim como John tocou ao vivo na última turnê. Eu peguei a mix original da música sem as faixas de guitarra, então o único som de guitarra que vocês vão ouvir é da minha gravação. É muito difícil tocar esse solo extremamente difícil numa música que é relativamente fácil como essa, infelizmente não saiu perfeito. Especialmente por estar filmando. Mas nem o próprio John tocou ele perfeitamente ao vivo, então tudo bem. Espero que gostem.

Very good job! I like the way you think regarding the approch for the playing the cover. As you wrote in the description, you played it as if you'd play it live and like JP played it live. I too like to play my covers as if I'd play it live and then decide in advance, which guitar parts I'll play.

Cara, primeiramente parabéns, este solo é um pouco difícil de executar devido aos contra tempos, eu gostaria de tirar umas dúvidas, eu tenho um Mesa Road King (50w 100w 130w) e eu tava pensando em trocar em um mark V 25, o RK é muito pesado e muito ruim pra tocar em volume baixo, estudar com um amp dessa potencia nao é facil, os vizinhos sempre xingam rs, seu mark estava em 10w ou 25w? gravado direto da saída? da pra tocar legal com banda ou falta um pouco de potencia? obrigado e parabéns
