The new culture is derived from old school, where cyphers and battles consisted of maybe a combo or two or a move or two. In fact, cyphers now still consist of that at times. In a competition, you need to show a round full of different criteria, in a cypher or a cypher battle your objective is to smoke the other person and generate hype; you don't need to add filler moves

Cypher battles can go on for 20, 30+ rounds. And i dont think ne1 has that many rounds, or very few bboys do. You wanna be quick and too the point with your moves. and I dont think he lost either. the other guy did nothing that great. he came with sloppy power, and lil g did one amazing move. Quick, to the point.
@erhsbboy You gotta bring out what your opponent brings out. You can't expect to show off one move when your opponent does a full set. Lil G lost this confrontation.
