Dad here. Just purchased a vista v2 for my wife and I with the sales this weekend. Need some help on car seats with compatibility. I saw the max got pulled for recalls, but the mesa v2 is still on market as well as aria. I've read that all the car seats have the issue the mesa max did but was not certain. If anyone else has better options, please let me know. Also, we are due in two weeks.
@@Haladafs you can do a wide variety of car seats with the purchase of adapters made by Uppa baby for the corresponding car seat. You could do any nuna pipa series seat, a cybex infant car seat, peg Perego infant car seats, maxi cosi infant seats, chicco infant car seats just to name a few 🥳
@@destinationbabykids ive read mixed reviews on the uppababy brand infant seats. I really like the mesa v2 and the one hand release from car. Weight isn't a huge factor for us and the aria is newer. I'll look into the pipa series if it's worth it. Just don't know how inconvenient it will be juggling the adapters with bassinet.
Has the newborn positioning been improved on in the aria? I know most cpsts dont recommend the uppababy car seats because of the bad fit for newborns. I love the aria and am hoping that this issue was addressed
I recently saw a newborn in one of these carseats, with her head super flopped forward. So that’s actually what brought me here. I was trying to figure out if it was a user error or if the carseat sits more upright than others. (Also looking for future carseats, but trying to look into these ones to decide).
For the max, Some blogs and reddit posts are claiming that after you remove the infant insert, the c-shaped back makes it so that chin touches chest and creates a safety hazard. Did you also notice that possibility?

I like that even though you're trying to sell this product, you're also honest about all its capabilities. That's called integrity. Well done.

I thought the fit was good for newborns but then not as great once you remove the newborn insert

@@tiffanystaats7119 Thank you! That’s so scary. If it weren’t like that, it would be an awesome option
Does the aluminum handle get hot on the Aria?
