- The plaintiff brings his two sisters to court. He says they both needed new phones and added them to his plan, but they never paid for the bills or cost of the phone, so he’s suing. The defendants argue the phones were just a gift. They think the plaintiff is suing because of a bigger family conflict.

I have seen people need life saving help from a family member and would rather die instead of accepting the help from that said family member even when the person wanted to help. So, even if that is the case, it could go the way of he is dead to her

I don’t understand how you think someone just gifts you a brand new iPhone and you just get to have a brand new phone for free and not have to pay anything. I don’t think he ever told her it was her birthday gift. I believe she couldn’t get a phone with her credit so he let her get it on his plan and she was to pay the bill. It’s insane how grown people just expect others to pay their phone bill. I think they take great advantage of him and he’s tired of it but I don’t think suing them is the answer

Those phones are most likely locked by the carrier until the balances are paid off, so I doubt they could’ve sold those.

It’s sad when siblings can’t get along. Especially when they’re older aged people. Some people just don’t care for peace, they want to keep the fight going because they thrive on chaos and confusion. I have two siblings like this. No matter how hard the others try to reason to keep the peace, they always find a way to hold on to their grudges. We can be in the middle of a beautiful loving family moment, one of them will get angry at the entire family and make a scene. They will say we are being fake because 15 years ago someone wasn’t getting along with the other. It’s always something and it’s sad that people don’t know how to resolve family problems without being vindictive or holding a grudge. It’s sad 😢

If she doesnt pay, which I dont believe will happen...I will just cancel and eat the fees if any bc I took that risk. I can see where the confusion happened. The plaintiff has always been there for his sister's especially his favorite sister and never really asked for anything back. But, this time around he got upset about something that when on with another sibling which caused him to turn the phones off. I believe his sister when she said, he would turn the phones off and on again. He was upset with them about something and wanted to show them who's in charge. The brother seems like a good hearted person to buy his sister a car and then tells his other sister she doesn't have to pay until she gets on her feet. What a good man he is. Hopefully, they can all find the peace they deserve and put this behind them. God Bless
