- Nvidia (NVDA) shares are rallying in Monday's trading session following a price target upgrade from Piper Sandler. The investment firm raised its target for the chipmaker to $140 from $120, maintaining an Overweight rating and citing "extremely strong" demand for the company's products.

BOOM! Bought in at the start of NVDA99K with $10k and turned it into a quick $70K profit and got out of there. DON'T GET GREEDY!
This is beyond stupid. You got out because you made money? Not the fundamentals? Not the literal DOZENS of pieces of news(TSM upping their production from prior estimates...from NVDA's forward guidance) of 40,000 Stacks to 60,000 stacks, not NVDA, TSLA and other companies announcing a collaboration.
Not the "surprising" demand for Hopper? No, just made 70K and that's it?
1-I don't even know when you'd have done this, but I dont' really believe you. It went from ~25 to 125 the last 18 months. So that's 7X. You're saying 8X growth.
So you had to do that in roughly November of '22.
I put 48K of money into NVDA because of their move to GPUs and the growth since 2016. I wtched the company as they went through a transition period in '22. I watched 1000 shares at 48 a share go to 4000 shares at 33 dollars a share, so I tripled my income.
But I KNEW...based on my research it was just the EARLY-EARLY on in the AI game.
So NVDA did some restructuring...and 2 years later, those shares are not 40,000 shares at 120 a share and they're now expected to beat earnings by BILLIONS of dollars.
That's 150 conservatively.
Don't ever worry about "getting greedy" in the market. That's the worst advice you could give.
You COULD say I should have gotten out at ~25-28 in 2022 and then got back in, but that's one thing.
You ALWAYS go off the fundamentals. The Fundamentals of NVDA are GAME CHANGING. They're at the epicenter of this new AI revolution and to sell now...
I also just don't believe you with the 10K into 70K. That meant you held long-term, but sold before it REALLY took over after earnings.
I also bought TSM at 85 a share. Just 2000 shares, but it was up at 194. What happened? Trump. Did that change the fundamentals? No, they're an even BETTER company now.
Googl on the other hand, I may dump them and take the 13% gain on the year I have and put that into AAPL.
But NEVER because I've already made money on a stock. That's the same logical fallacy as saying "Well, I lost money on that stock, so I'm not going to buy again."
INFORMED investors, they ARE greedy. They're also cheap. They want good VALUES.
Man, this was just awful advice. NVDA is going to 200 in the next 18 months(and very well sooner or higher depending on the analysts, but it's at the epicenter of this new AI revolution, the new economic, industrial revolution...and it's THRIVING, adding Cloud, it's hardware and software are now designing chips that are compatible with the US regulations on China!
