  • Join TCS Engineer Dan as he shows you step-by-step how to install a TCS FL4 decoder into an N Scale Atlas Caboose, wire up some LEDs and add Keep Alive® for steady lighting. Part 1 covers disassembly of the caboose shell, axle replacement, axle wiper installation, axle-to-cab wiring, wiring resistors, and installation of 3 SMLEDs. Part 2 covers decoder wiring, Keep Alive® wiring, soldering and heat shrinking wires, and final product.

Another great install video Dan. These last few RUclips videos take me back to the time when your website we my "go to" for installation ideas and basic electrical theory. Keep prodding the engineers at TCS to give us some sound equipped N scale sound. Great job!
    Mark.

Thank you, Mark! Our goal is to make DCC easy and accessible for everyone and anyone regardless of their technical or mechanical aptitude. N scale is becoming more and more accessible and feasible by the day, and that's the way we like it!
