This is a great overview. I almost didn't find it since it says e203n instead of e203m or e203ma - mine (from Best Buy) was sold as an "e203ma" although on the sticker on the bottom it only says e203m. I'm very impressed by the performance of the 8th gen N4000 chip, I wanted to pick up a Chromebook but they are still running a much older generation N3060 chip. Sure wish I could upgrade the 2gb to 8gb.

BTW at $119 with a full-sized HDMI port it can easily be used to feed Netflix and Amazon Prime to a high quality desktop monitor.
It's just a shame that a bloated website like USA Today can bring it to its knees.

A friend of mine has a daughter who needs a screen replacing in an E203 - he can either order a screen or a complete back case, which would you advise and how easy it would be to do so if you could help me?
Mate! It is possible to upgrade the ram or the ssd if we solder a bigger ones?
It's not recommened to do any modifications to the soldered ram/ssd

Install Linux on an SD card. Otherwise you can't easily do it because it's BGA soldered in place.

No, sadly the ram is physically on the board and unless you know how to take those types of Ram off the board or willing to take the risk (ruclips.net/video/yjFAr5nM4YU/видео.html) then it's impossible.

My asus has black screen not sure what i can do.
Me too.. could be the ram but impossible to replace it. You could still access your computer by connecting it to an external monitor or a TV using the HDMI port

Maybe the laptop doesn't allow this monitor, if it makes noise when you turn the laptop on I think it's not dead, only a chipset linking to the screen.

В данной модели есть слот под micro sd карту, которым я и пользуюсь. Лишних габаритов не добавляет и без проблем работает

no, the two are fused to the motherboard
You can expand it with a Micro SD card that goes up to 256 GB
