- Here’s a cover/recreation I made from the short sample of the lost song referred to as “Everyone Knows That” / "Ulterior Motives". I really hope the original song is found soon!
It’s so catchy I couldn’t get it out of my head, so I tried my best to recreate it using Logic Pro X and Synthesiser V’s Solaria and Kevin voicebanks.

I am amazed a noisy 18 second clip has gotten so popular to the point of covers to finish it. I'm truly a big shocked in a good way, what a small clip can do to people's lives

It's like our timeline has split. Now there's two versions of this song.
The song lyrics, ironically, predicted the opposite of its future, at least the lyrics from the original 20 second long clip. For example, the phrase, "Caught up in a web of lies" represents the on-going cycle of people trying to make covers, recreations, and remixes to convert this obscure 20-second long clip into a full song. The "lie" part represents the songs and the people trying to recreate the song to make it sound like the original song we never even heard, and the "caught up in a web" part represents how these remixes get views, essentially burying all the original videos and the investigation videos underneath the dark pits of the Recommended Page. I don't know if that made sense, but that's how it sounds like to me.
As for "Everyone Knows That", it's ironic because NO ONE knows what the song is called, or even who made the song, or even what the full version sounds like. In turn, everybody just...you know...tries to assume and stuff.

Kind of reminds me of Every Time We Touch, in the sense that it takes the chorus of a song and adds new lyrics.

I’m a huge 80’s and 90’s music fan and I want people to make this genre of music again like this one😩
I suggest two of my favorite artists, The Midnight and Espen Kraft, as they’re able to capture that sound perfectly in this modern age.

This is sooo great, i absolutely love the vibe of this, however it still feels very different from the original, except from the chorus, that sounds a bit similar to the original, this is basically a whole new song. The original feels more like old school disco/dance, with the rythm of funk. This is far more like pop-funk, and the extended lyrics themselves are far more aggressive than the typical 80s song you'd hear in a prom party, they feel pretty modern and deliever the message directly, like a pop song. However this does not remove the fact that this is independently AMAZING! and i LOVE that bass

@vumas tbh I don't know much, but vocal synths have been around way before ai and tend to require a little more work to get them to sing. you can't just hand it a video to base itself off, you have to manually edit each word to each note and then tune and mix and all that to get the vocals to sound good. also, morally, there's the fact that the voice provider is paid for their voice and usually gets to sign a contract that lays out what they're comfortable with their voice being used for (sometimes it means a song using their voice can't be monetized, or maybe it means the project has to be sfw, whatever)

This is a phenomenal recreation, and your vocals are great. I feel like the only thing I would change is the lyric "You're counting all the sheep in the sky", since upon relistening to the original snippet, it sounds more like the original singer said "You carry all the shame in disguise". I think it also makes more sense when you put it with the rest of the other lyrics. Really though, this is a great video, thanks for putting in so much effort, I intend to listen to this again later :)
