Remember chatting with a Villa Fan at the Boro away game earlier in the season. He wasn't a huge fan of Grealish, saying his head has been turned etc...couldn't believe what I was hearing, and I said it's what he does for the team, you are missing the space he creates for others, the confidence he gives others around him! Not long after Jack is injured due to the accumulation of fouls he's had to injure (most fouled player and misses 12 games too)...We lose Jack and the team looks a shadow of its former self, it's not coincidental. Got to go back to playing the 3 who were so successful earlier in the season; Jack McGinn and Hourihane, dynamic goals and threatening
Just remember that easily could've been a knife in Grealish's neck not a fist, stewards need to be trained properly NOW

Not highlighted in this video but even the steward knees/kicks him in the back and very forcefully tries to return him to the pitch after celebrating the goal. Between that and the "fan" punching him - I can't think of anything more disgusting in quite some time. Disgraceful, and has the unfortunate effect of making a neutral like me hate Birmingham even tho I know the club was not directly involved. Some way to represent your team...

The Birmingham City manager and players should be held responsible for the assault by the thug. That tackle (!) on Grealish which resulted in a booking, was a disgusting one that should have been a red card. That is assault! No attempt made at the ball, just a knee high kicking. That obscenity set the tone and the lies pre-match were shown up for what they really were. 14 weeks for the thug. Points deduction, locked gates for three matches and the club held to account for their actions. A disgrace Birmingham. Craven.
