Our wedding film love story
How did you guys meet?
At Canterbury Christ Church University at the start of Tariq's 3rd year and Emma's 2nd year.
Tell me a bit about the two of you, what do you guys do? How do you spend your time?
Emma is a primary school teacher and in her spare time likes playing netball.
Tariq is a residential surveyor and in his spare time watches/plays football and tennis.
We like to play sport together including tennis and mini golf.
How did you choose your wedding venue(s)?
We looked around a few venues in the area, however, when we visited Ashridge House we couldn't stop smiling and loved everything about it.
What sort of experience do you want your guests to have?
One full of fun and love. We want everyone to enjoy the day as much as we will and to have an awesome party in the evening (the bride and groom love to party).
Can you describe some of the details and stylings, does your wedding have a theme?
Colour scheme is pink. No religious themes, just focusing on love.
Music is a big part of the day, with a string trio for the ceremony/drinks reception and a band and DJ in the evening.
What was the hardest decision during the planning?
Choosing a venue until we walked into Ashridge House.
What advice would you give to couples planning a wedding?
Start early and do everything bit by bit.
