(Taped 3/3/81) Comedian Soupy Sales and vivacious Jo Anne Worley are the celebrities. It's Bob versus Bob on this episode of Triangle! Want more episodes? Check out my playlist: • Pyramid Game Show 1973...
I remember this episode in my last year of high school. Thank You so very, very much for posting this episode of the $50,000 Pyramid with Jo Ann Worley, the late great Soupy Sales & Dick Clark as host. I LOVE IT VERY, VERY MUCH. R.I P. Soupy & Dick.
Thanks so much for having posted this episode of "Pyramid". one of my favorite game shows as a child and still is. I never get tired of watching the exciting Winner's Circle moment between Soupy Sales and his civilian partner...and Jo Ann Worley's cheering in the background here helped make the win even more special and worth watching again and again. RIP Dick Clark and Soupy Sales
I liked the way Dick Clark would let an exciting moment breathe, especially after a big win. Not to be overly critical, but on the current Pyramid there's about 5 seconds of celebration time and then it's "Ok, time for a commercial!"
Communication and Production Management? Nowhere can I find a listing of the name spelled out. It is formally known as CPM, Inc. Chicago. The trademark expired in 1988, so I'm guessing they didn't have much luck.

Absolutely Marvelous win with terrific clues given by a sensational entertainer really exciting!!!!!
The experiment for what will become The $100,000 Pyramid.
That $50,000 win would've been better if the entire audience ran on stage like the $100,000 wins.
Or if the trilons danced.
Or when the fire alarm and sirens sound like on "The Price is Right".

I think when it came to the Davidson version, that's when the exciting moments stopped abruptly 10 seconds into the celebration.
Anything that has a number: A fire truck 🚒
A remote control
A Dukes of Hazzard car
A basketball jersey
A birthday cake candle
I think they'd buzz you on Dukes of Hazzard for using "of"
@@witherblaze oh yeah
Bob Vereeni wasn't he a Jeopardy contestant?
Yes. He won a tournament of champions in the 1980s and also came within 1 point from winning the Super Jeopardy summer tournament in 1990
YES! I remember him from Jeopardy too He was a great champion , back in the day . 😎👍
Bob won the Jeopardy Tournament in 1987 by One Dollar.
Bob Verini played on Jeopardy as well. I never saw this version.
Yeah....no....."Bunny" for "Rabbit" should have been buzzed.
21:24: They did a Dating Game goodbye move here.
Is this the same Bob Verini that won several tournaments (including Super Jeopardy!) on this episode?
One and the same
I thought he looked familiar.
I've read that ol sales could really down the whisky
Fifth a day for 40 years
Vereeni made the game show rounds . I seen the guy on 4 other shows
What if the $50,000 was won on the first half of the show?
Would that mean the remaining two champions play the second half for $5,000?

Who is the announcer
It's a guy named Steve O'Bryan. I literally remember nothing else he's announced BESIDES the $50K Pyramid.
I use to like when Dick Clark would say see you on the Bandstand 💯🤛🏽
@@VidmanXX I think he was a DJ at WABC-AM in New York either around the time this originally aired, or before as well, but i'm not 100 percent sure.

What is the production company, C.P.M. Inc stand for? I'm thinking it's for Colgate Palmolive but I can be wrong.
