Dollar Tree is taking over. 99 cent stores converted Dollar Tree and rehire all same staff. Brand new store’s opening up. Probably 80 store in So Cal. Balloon’s,candy, drinks,Chips. Need a job Go to dollar tree. But the Tree works Hard. Tree workers break backs.
Block buster, Radio shack, Fry’s, e.b toys, toys R us, k mart, mark my words Chuck E. Cheese and shopping malls will be next. It is what it is. Shopping in person is out of style it gets you out the house but online gives you more convenience but with Amazon workers on strike it is better to go in person 😅
online shopping is not what we all want some customers like tombe around other people and most young folks just dont have the skills to deal with life and we all work to much to little pay
I worked there at this this riverside location for 4 years and quit a few months after the stores reopened to the public after the pandemic. Through out the last months of my employment I was always hearing about the company closing stores in its not so busy areas. It’s crazy to see this and hear this. As it’s only been 4 years later since I’ve worked there. I hope the employees find something quick as times are hard and challenging enough already
New CEO 4 months ago, talked up a big game about debt reduction and store expansions…only to stop paying vendors and shut down business, effective immediately, before the holidays. Bad CEO.
We have lost so many businesses in the last eight years. Depressing economy indeed
That's why I'm not getting a job.
Even more are closing in 2025.
Shipped to China for kickbacks by our political elite
@@anonymoushuman8443it’s all Gen Joe’s fault.
There 800 million dollars in debt. I work for there distribution center. They dropped the bomb on us today. February 28th is the closing date.
They’re 800 millions….for their distribution…. Good luck finding a new job!
Wowza
At least they told their employees that they were closing down unlike these other chains that leave them high and dry.
Is this sarcasm?
Don’t forget to mention they are insanely overpriced. They are responsible for their own closure. I haven’t been in years
Everything is bound to change eventually
It's changing for the worse
Not like this. It's actually scary.
@@tias.6675 were in a recession and it's worse than 2008

They're right ! I can't wait until online shopping comes back to bite.
It's private equity.
President Musk and Vice President Trump will make sure Jeff Bezos is rewarded.
Online shopping has killed in store retail services.
Helium shortage is also to blame for Party City’s downfall.

I agree on the whole Chuck E. Cheese thing.
There are malls like the south coast plaza that are still thriving,
online shopping is not what we all want some customers like tombe around other people and most young folks just dont have the skills to deal with life and we all work to much to little

We are making America great again by keeping the rich richer.
Your low iq’d “leader” is still in charge of the government jabroni.
The Party City’s O V E R 🎉😢
This is what happens when you shop online.
Recently, I needed table covers, and I asked if I should go to party city, and they said no that’s too expensive and to get it from Walmart
F Amazon
Crazy.

Bad CEO.
Nobody throws parties anymore because of false accusations and fighting
Party City was very popular in the early 2000s, and we’d go there for Halloween 👻 costumes.
It’s not really online shopping it’s mainly like I can just get all my party supplies at dollar tree lol
Well, that is very much better than nothing!
Dollar tree will be gone too.
@@nasirb3914 I doubt it. Where I live (though not at the same shop), there were two new locations that needed to be there.
First 99 only then this……good job Newsom and the Democrats!
Party city has always been overpriced. I used to go there back in HS and it was always more expensive Then the other shops.
