Love watching your videos touring town. I was born in Anchorage 1971, and reca riding my BMX bike all over that town with many of my friends in Elementary School thru Jr High School @ Dimond and one year @ Service. Again thank you for the ride down memory lane. Look forward to more of your videos.
Thank you! Nice to know that you were born In Anchorage and have happy memories growing up here! Glad you’re enjoying the channel! You’re very welcome! 😊❤️
We don’t.😄 We use all-weather tires or for some, they use studded tires which are permitted only from October to April 15th, otherwise they’ll be ticketed!😄 We also use 4-wheel drive in winter for more traction and then change back to 2-wheel drive in summer.😊
In some parts of Alaska, yes. Like here in Anchorage, tomorrow’s sunrise is @9:10am and sunset @4:31pm. While in Fairbanks, sunset is @3:16pm. Now in Barrow, Alaska… sunrise tomorrow is @1:15pm, sunset @2:03pm!!😄 So, less than an hour of sunlight there.😊
I guess local restaurants must get some supplies there because I can't think who else would buy a 75lb wheel of cheese or an industrial size bucket of honey. But I suppose somebody will buy it otherwise they wouldn't stock it. I see the parking lots are clear of ice and snow right now, but I'm curious how a person would wheel a grocery cart through snow to get to their vehicle? Or do they have an employee designated to guard your cart while you go and then drive up to the curb? I've never encountered this issue before, or if I did, I don't remember. I spent some time in Michigan in winter and I think they let you drive up to the curb while someone waits with your cart. Too long ago for me to be sure.
😂Yes, this one is the Costco Business Center, not the regular Costco Wholesale. So, they cater mostly for local businesses. We all wheel out our carts to our cars.😊 Supermarkets are responsible to clear their own parking lots. They do hire people to do the job!😊
Nice name!😄👍 Ok, for colder season, average cost of electricity per kwh is $0.0527. Rates are slightly lower during the summer. For our gas, we pay around $300 (depends upon usage). For warmer season, just around $60.😊
Yes, we actually do have lots. I heard the city recently cleared out two homeless encampments but I am not sure if they were offered shelter or not… they probably were though.😊

Hello, boy I am impressed with how dry your highways were. They do a great job at clearing them. All the best.
Yes, but we haven’t had snow for several days now and some of them have melted.😄 All the best to you too! Thank you!❤️
Enjoyed the drive and shopping, look forward to more in the future.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it!😊❤️
I just ordered a 98 inch TCL from Costco, will arrive next week up here in Big Lake.

Nice mountains! Hello from Siberia!
Do you use spiked tyres during winter? We do, and we usually have 2 sets of tyres - for winter and for summer.

I love your infrastructure. It actually makes sense unlike Pennsylvania
Thanks!😊❤️
I was under the impression that it was dark in Alaska this time of year

@888eve Good to know! Thanks for the info! 😀
I’m about to move there next summer any advice??
Alaska is beautiful but be prepared for a higher cost of living. Learn how to dipnet for salmon in summer!😄
compre um casaco.
Great video...I do ride-along videos too except my area is a little warmer...😺🌴
Thanks! ❤️ That’s awesome, we’d all love to have some of your warm weather right now!😄👍

What's the Elect & Gas looking like for 1 month, Alaska needs an NFL team and stadium, "The Alaskan Narwhal's" 😊

Do you have a lot of homeless people in Anchorage?
Yes, we actually do have lots. I heard the city recently cleared out two homeless encampments but I am not sure if they were offered shelter or not… they probably were though.😊

@@PLPiotr Hello!😊❤️
Horror 😱🥶
Why live in such a cold place, where it's winter for half a year?
Why?😄 Because Alaska is beautiful. People who chose to live here can tough it out. 😊
Summers here are amazing.
U must live nearby to far for us to drive not effective cost.
Not really, we live near downtown.😊❤️
Been there done that, to cold even if you make $500k
No thank you I'm quite ok in my warmer climate
4 dollars a gallon BS 😂
