I just want to remind everyone how great Gem's command of colour theory is. She's got multiple synergistic elements tied in through her builds across the server - whether that be purple/orange for the ghost fish, blue/orange for the mermaid or dark pink/teal for her fishing boats, it all works together in a really pleasing way, and that's just the colourful contrasting colours. Her use of neutral tones and blocks that mix yellow and green textures for her gradients in the town is great, because it allows her to get across a gradient shift far more succinctly than if she had used colours that don't appear twice in the same blocks. There are so many great decisions that she makes constantly that I think we as an audience tend to take for granted because everyone on this server is really really talented, so I just wanted to point that one thing out.
Gem, electrical boxes and wires are so fitting to your base theme, and they give these otherwise pretty normal, huts some nice character. Haven't played dredge, but i think even some subtle litter in some corners outside to make things more grungy!
The giant fish is very fun use of the huge armor stand, I'm really enjoying the creativity of hermits exploring the scale feature and seeing what meshes and what doesnt
You might add coral underneath the boat... maybe have it stuck on a coral reef, that way the color attracts extra attention to it, while also making it clear what you're selling. Looks great though!
6:04 "Looks like the hammer just found the nail" got me hard 💀🤣 This has to be turned into the next goat horn of the month. Pro tip: don't watch this clip while eating spaghetti. Bad idea.
I'm a little worried that, since Pearl's Trucks were marked as Pop-Ups, the Coral Boat will also be marked as one. It's a shame, since both the trucks and the boat are super cute and I feel like not every shop needs to be HUGE. Also we have seen the BDubs clip 30 times and we will watch it 30 times more. That kind of silly hermit interaction brings me so much joy.
the trucks should be safe based on Scar's vid. Pearlo really played them well, the boat should be safe too since it's a good build. Gem's boat is not really that smol anyway.
I love your interactions with Pearl, Gem. Last season showed how well you two fit together, and this season has only reinforced that. 🐍 Also, Gem, if you apply bonemeal to Coral Blocks in a Warm Ocean biome, they will spawn Coral Fans! They can be safely farmed!
I know you were trying to have as little light as possible in the Depths of your base, but I think it would be cool to put Magma blocks in the monster's mouth causing it to drag people down
Now that we have maces in the game, someone should really continue the fight club from you and Joel and make a Mace fight club. I imagine a very vertical arena with a lot of jumping platforms.
If I was to give a recommendation for the kraken, I think instead of showing it, implying depth might give more horror. Have the tentacles coming out of the cave in mass, but do a slow glass effect to make it fade into an abyss, maybe with occasional lighting in spots to add detail, but mostly abyss
I am so glad that you used those wind charges on Pearls base. When I saw the other hermit videos with them playing around with doors and item frames, I knew someone had to prank pearl's base by setting up a dispenser from really far away from her base that would sometimes shoot and sometimes hit her base to flip them randomly. (please do this, would be so funny)
2:47 "look at all those pickles!" should become a horn. And if it becomes a horn, you should go to Pearl and just spam it here. Or do the same prank she did when she discovered The Etho lab.
Petition to fill the comments being amazed by gem bone mealing a dark oak sappling and it turning into a custom tree, as gem mentioned it makes her happy when we play along.
I think I spent like 2 or 3 Hours watching and replaying the boat building section of this video multiple times for ideas and details and just general things on how to build a boat in minecraft, and You're one and My Boat both look amazing! Thank you Gem :D Keep up the Good Work!

You’re not only an amazing builder, but you are a genuine friend and kind person. People really hate seeing a strong woman and that’s just the truth. Don’t let it get you down because there are so many of us that wholeheartedly disagree with those people and would be devastated to know that it gets you down, because it shouldn’t. This is quite obviously a very silly and mean thing to say, but in people's (rightful) defense of Gem, they made it a bigger thing than it was, it was only one person and no one has agreed with that person. At this point I think bringing it up amplifies a single person's voice way too much when they are clearly alone in thinking that way

27:13. I was thinking about this when I watched your last video, however, I think a cool idea would be to make the bast of each tooth a deeper, yellow-y colour to make it more spooky and perhaps even a tad more realistic. But, the monster still looks unexpectedly frightening now.
You should make a clay farm so you don’t have to go to the lush cave everytime. Mud farm then an area to dry the mud to clay. I think you could make it a great addition to your area!
For a better squid, make the body using a red terracotta on top of a red wool, use 2 Blackstone buttons for the eyes and use 2 crimson vines for the tentacles
the new shop is sooo cool!!! maybe consider making a seperate pickle shop! i would think that to be end up looking quit cool!! maybe as the docking area for the coral shop boat
honestly the clip with bdubs is the best from this perspective, the skizz or bdubs first person is great, but seeing it happen from a distance is amazing

Bdubs has such flawless, and natural, comedic timing and the setting, setup, and personalities involved with the scene worked perfectly together.
