Hi karan i found your answers quite satisfying. I own desert storm. I fell like it releases high white smoke at high throtle otherwise its not visible that much. Recently l got it serviced and at around 800km of ride i had to top up the oil by around 700 to 800 ml and oil level got back to normal. Now this reduction in oil level is normal or there is something serious with my engine. It is 11000 on the odo at present. And 2016 model. What do you say
@@amjathkhan2004 I bought is locally u can go to any spare parts shop and hey will have it they usually call it the vacuum line as both have standard sizes .
Thank you, Karan! This is exactly the tutorial I was searching for. Any reason why you didn't show the bleeding till the end when the new oil comes in? Also, are you able to spot any air bubbles? And should we exercise any caution to make sure air doesn't get in after pouring the new oil and then closing the oil chamber? Thank you!
yeah always make sure your pipe is always above the line of bleed port as air always rises up therefore no air going into the system if u have your pipe over the bleed line and going up just like in the video
@@yardlybrutt1985 Generally speaking, every one to two years. However, if your brake fluid starts looking darker (you can see it through the eye-glass in the reservoir), it’s time to change it.
NO ! It don't work like that u dont just top up engine oil and call it a day u know the old oil will damage the engine and make it unreliable that is why you change the brake fluid You flush it ! You make sure that the old fluid is not in there anymore because oil fluid can make your braking unreliable in emergencies that's why you flush it every year or two depending on usage, this ensures that every time you brake you have firm and confidence aspiring braking experience.
@@jitinkumar7742 by that i mean the oil chamber should not run dry if it does air will get traped inside the brake line and cause brake failure as the air is compressible giving u false indication of braking but not actually working so it is very important to clean the chamber take out all the oil then pour new oil then only press the lever .i hope this answers your question .
it is recommended to change them in 2 to 3 years i personally recommend changing it every time when u change ur brake pads making sure that the brakes work in tip top condition . But if u see your brake fluid all gunky or dirty or something not clear then you need to flush it .
@@KaransDIY Im not at all able to see the oil in the oil indicator. My bike is 1 and half years old(5000KMS). Im not facing any bad difference in the braking. Im very confused when to change the oil. Please help me out
hey ravi its ok sometimes we cannot see the fluid as the fluid from factory is clear and not easily distinguishable and i recommend not changing it yet if u don't feel any decrease in performance of braking but check your brake fluid condition every month or 1000kms or before a long trip .
castel i would say it depends upon which quality of fluid you chose as good better brands can easily last a lot longer than the fluid provided by royalenfield and also how you ride hard braking will wear the brake fluid faster so u decide what is best for you
U are awesome man this is the best and the easiest way to fix the brakes thank you 🤩

How often we have to change the brake fluid?
A general rule of thumb is to have your brake fluid changed every two years, but it's always best to follow the bike manufacturer's recommendations.
@@KaransDIY So mine is electra 350 2020 model. What is Royal Enfield recommendation?

I cannot understand how the oil bleeded out ...Do we. Have yo press lever to bleed out
yes u press the lever and the oil pumps out
@@KaransDIY But in video you have written that we don't have to press brake until new brake fluid is poured in.
