Not rubbish this was the normal belief of shias and Sunnis way b4 the sheikh of t4r0r!sts ibn taymiyah came, The difference is that the mushrikeen of quraish still worshipped the idols even tho they believed in a higher god, however those who do tawasul (the act of seeking intercession with someone to allah) do not worship that waseela nor do they believe it harms or benefits outside of the will of allah(other wise they would be committing shirk), it is simply like going to someone and ask him to pray/ask allah for you because he’s more beloved and closer to allah and his prayers are usually accepted, which is what the prophet (peace be upon him and his family) taught in hadith al-dhareer(hadith of the blind man) and those companions kept doing it even after his death or when aisha told the muslims to take the prophet’s (peace be upon him and his family) grave as a waseela to allah(seek intercession with him) in the book of sunan al-darimi(the Wahhabi’s will tell you it’s a weak text but it is an authentic line of narration), just be a man and use some or research while stripping yourself of any preexisting sectarian bias.

In darood sharif we ask Allah to send blessings on Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, but when we need help, why do we call upon others beside Allah for help.
His explanation does not make sense. Calling upon Allah is regarding worship to him. "Ya Ali Madad" is giving Ali (ra) Allah's attribute based on 2:186. Calling a doctor to make an appointment is not related to the worship of Allah, that is a worldly issue. However, we thank Allah for allowing us to call the doctor as he is the creator of everything.
So you give a doctor an attribute of Allah SWT by depending on that doctor for medicine?

It was narrated by al-Hakim via ‘Abd-Allah ibn Muslim al-Fahri (who said), Isma’eel ibn Muslimah narrated to us, ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd ibn Aslam told us, from his father, from his grandfather, from ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him), that he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, “When Adam committed his sin…” Then he quoted the hadeeth as the questioner quoted it.
Al-Hakim said: The isnad (chain of narrators) of this hadeeth is saheeh.
This is what al-Hakim said! But a number of scholars rebuked him and denounced him for classing this hadeeth as saheeh. They ruled that this hadeeth is false and fabricated, and they pointed out that al-Hakim contradicted himself when commenting on this hadeeth.

In sahih hadith even before the prophet was born Adam used tawasul. Which shia use. It's just sunni have distorted the religion so much that the real religion is unrecognizable. Hanfi, malik and shafia school of thought it's not haram to use tawasul

Islam is the purest form of a monotheistic religion in the world. This is the main message of the Quran, to call upon and worship Allah SWT alone. Tawheed is the seed of Islam. Shirk is the only sin which does not get forgiven. There is a reason for this. Why risk this? Do not deviate away from this pureness.

The question isn't really if "it is allowed or not to ask help from someone beside Allah" but how could Ali (as) help you while he's dead ? And why do shias believe it's better to ask to Ahl al Bayt than directly to Allah
Well many times our sins block our duas from reaching door of acceptance so people use the Wasila of Those beloved to Allah which is the Prophet and his family to get their duas accepted ( and it does get accepted, I've tried it and Alhamdulillah it works).

@@Akhbari-14125calling upon them for help and using them as waseela to ask Allah are two completely different things. Waseela's work in Allah's court but you cannot directly ask that Waseela for help (madad).
