This is such a stellar pilot for a show, it takes the principle of "show don't tell" and plays it out perfectly. My favorite example is the woman from the conference room who shared a cigarette with Jimmy. They are clearly very comfortable with each other, and when she puts the garbage can back together without a word, you know there's something special between these two.
Just found your channel and love you're doing this show! Twice a week reactions would be tight, tight, tight!😉
It was stated in BB by Saul, " with any luck in a years time I'll be in Nebraska working at a Cinnabon" it's not a hard show to follow.
Abuelita is Hector Salamanca mother, Tuco and the twins ( Marco and Leonel ) grandmother, and Joaquin Salamanca's ( 4x10 of BB ) great grandmother.
They said where Saul was going at the end of BB. Nebraska.
SE1 of "Better Call Saul" takes place in 2002, six years before "Breaking Bad", which takes place between 2008 - 2010.
Give it some time. It's a slow burn and takes a couple seasons to pick up, but you will NOT regret it.
I liked the slow burn; and, after finishing the series, I think I like it better than Breaking Bad.
@@mermer1422 same. They draw the tension out longer
These slow burn seasons are one of my favourite part of this series. The writing is impeccable.
You dont have to guess what's about to happen or what the relationships are all the time. Just pay attention, things resolve eventually.
It is quite annoying
Stick with it. Really pays off. Some of the greatest writing, acting and directing seen on TV.
At least as good as Breaking Bad and some of the best episodes are just mind-blowing.
I subbed and am ready to re-watch the whole thing through fresh eyes. Been a while since I saw seasons 1-3 so bring it on
it was pretty stressfull watching you ignore details like Jimmy's (Saul) last name, McGill, which indicated that Chuck was his brother, not his client.
*applies shoulder massage*
Feel unstressed yet?
yea Im enjoying it with other reactors :/ I mean McGill was on several things, his office, the matchbook, the check...
People, there was a full-screen display - Cinabone, Omaha; and they were asking where he was 🤣🤣
Like Breaking Bad, it takes it time, at first... but every episode builds the tension and the characters... not only will there be more cameos, we'll get characters that were only namedropped in BB becoming full fledged regulars. And when you get to the end ots gonna give you some new perspectives on BB.
Best series ever.
Agreed
I don’t like this show and don’t get the love for it. It’s painfully slow and mostly boring and goes nowhere.
Pay more attention, then you may actually enjoy the show. The show rewards viewers for paying attention to details with payoff and such. It's slow so it gives the viewer time to think and gives a larger pool of details to look at, examine, and analyze.
With that in mind, this show has literally became my top 3. I like shows that make you think, and this makes viewers do a lot of that.
This is a show that demands the audience's attention. Not everyone's bag, sorry you don't have the patience for it.
Tuco shows up literally in the first episode and you still think the show is ‘slow’
Looks like a ‘you’ problem
Show has a 98% on rotten tomatoes and a 96% audience score. You're either 13 years old or out of your mind.
@@Spencer_2236 lol you guys are so offended that somebody disagrees with your opinion and you call them childish
