I guess metal hater draws as much as vocal coach. I give you a comment, like and a sub (without bell) for the aspiration to go big. Good luck. Oh, this is djenty prog to shorten it. No death of any sorts hear
This performance was unrehearsed. Josh Gilbert (bass, backing vocals clearly audible here) took the tracks from the soundboard recoding and remixed the stuff the following days after the event. Early footage on TT, YT, FB, Insta, evidences that Tatiana's vocals were barely listenable in the live sound mix. Well decided, this concert clip will make it above 100mn views in less than on year and help to push Spiritbox' and Jinjer's stellar trajectory. PS Josh and his wife lost all their personal belongings in the LA fires.
I'll do the professor for a bit, sorry if its annoying but someone has to: You're mixing vocal styles with musical genres. It seems that if you hearing someone doing harsh vocals then you go "this is death metal". No, absolutely not. Theres various different type of harsh vocals: growling, screaming, guttural, pig squeal, tunnels, goblins, high, lows, etc All of these can be used in death metal, black metal, metalcore, symphonic metal, nu metal, etc Of course some genre has more often than others some type of specific vocal style, you will probably (or never?) hear a pig squeal in a trash metal song for exampel, but still you have to keep your mind openend about it.
Love them both tremendously but Tati is such a vocal beast!
This was the best unrehearsed collaboration of 2024.
very cool colab
This genre is called metal core!
And if you wanna know how death core sounds like you should check out slaughter to prevail or face yourself.
